族叔育万(wan)言(yan),张(zhang)歌桥之北,有(you)人(ren)见黑狐(hu)(hu)醉卧场屋中(zhong)--场中(zhong)守视谷麦小屋,俗谓之场屋,初欲(yu)擒捕,既而念狐(hu)(hu)能致财,乃覆以(yi)(yi)(yi)衣(yi)而坐守之,狐(hu)(hu)睡醒,伸(shen)缩数四,即(ji)成人(ren)形,甚感其(qi)(qi)(qi)护视,遂相与(yu)为友(you)。狐(hu)(hu)亦时有(you)所(suo)馈赠,一日问(wen)(wen)(wen)狐(hu)(hu)曰(yue)(yue):设(she)有(you)人(ren)匿君(jun)(jun)家,君(jun)(jun)能隐(yin)蔽弗露乎(hu)?曰(yue)(yue):能。又(you)(you)问(wen)(wen)(wen)君(jun)(jun)能凭附人(ren)身狂走乎(hu)?曰(yue)(yue):亦能。此人(ren)即(ji)垦乞曰(yue)(yue):吾(wu)家酷贫,君(jun)(jun)所(suo)惠(hui)不(bu)足以(yi)(yi)(yi)赡,而又(you)(you)愧于数犊君(jun)(jun)。今里(li)中(zhong)某(mou)(mou)(mou)甲(jia),甚富而甚畏讼(song),顷闻觅(mi)一妇(fu)司庖(pao),吾(wu)欲(yu)使(shi)(shi)妇(fu)往应,居(ju)数日,伺隙逃出藏(zang)君(jun)(jun)家,而吾(wu)以(yi)(yi)(yi)失妇(fu)阳欲(yu)讼(song),妇(fu)尚(shang)粗(cu)有(you)姿(zi)首,可诬以(yi)(yi)(yi)蜚语,胁多金(jin)。得金(jin)之后(hou),公凭附使(shi)(shi)奔至某(mou)(mou)(mou)甲(jia)别(bie)墅中(zhong),然后(hou)使(shi)(shi)人(ren)觅(mi)得,则(ze)承惠(hui)多矣(yi)。狐(hu)(hu)如(ru)(ru)所(suo)言(yan),果得多金(jin),觅(mi)妇(fu)返(fan)后(hou),某(mou)(mou)(mou)甲(jia)以(yi)(yi)(yi)在其(qi)(qi)(qi)别(bie)墅,亦不(bu)敢复(fu)问(wen)(wen)(wen)。然此妇(fu)狂疾(ji)竟不(bu)愈,恒自码(ma)饰,夜似与(yu)人(ren)共嬉笑,而禁(jin)其(qi)(qi)(qi)夫(fu)勿使(shi)(shi)前(qian)。急(ji)往问(wen)(wen)(wen)狐(hu)(hu),狐(hu)(hu)言(yan)无是理,试往侦之,俄归而顿(dun)足曰(yue)(yue):败(bai)矣(yi),是某(mou)(mou)(mou)甲(jia)家楼上狐(hu)(hu),悦君(jun)(jun)妇(fu)之色,乘(cheng)吾(wu)出而彼入也,此狐(hu)(hu)非我所(suo)能敌,无如(ru)(ru)何(he)矣(yi)。此人(ren)固垦不(bu)已,狐(hu)(hu)正(zheng)色曰(yue)(yue):譬如(ru)(ru)君(jun)(jun)里(li)中(zhong)某(mou)(mou)(mou),暴横如(ru)(ru)虎,使(shi)(shi)彼强据人(ren)妇(fu),君(jun)(jun)能代争乎(hu)?后(hou)其(qi)(qi)(qi)妇(fu)颠痛日甚,且(qie)具发其(qi)(qi)(qi)夫(fu)之阴谋,瞈灸核治皆(jie)无效(xiao),卒以(yi)(yi)(yi)瘵(zhai)死。里(li)人(ren)皆(jie)曰(yue)(yue):此人(ren)狡黠如(ru)(ru)鬼(gui),而又(you)(you)济以(yi)(yi)(yi)狐(hu)(hu)之幻(huan),宜(yi)无患矣(yi),不(bu)虞(yu)以(yi)(yi)(yi)狐(hu)(hu)召狐(hu)(hu),如(ru)(ru)螳(tang)螂黄(huang)雀(que)之相伺也。古诗曰(yue)(yue):利旁有(you)倚刀,贪人(ren)还自贼(zei),信矣(yi)。

门人(ren)(ren)(ren)王廷绍言(yan)(yan),忻(xin)州(zhou)(zhou)有(you)(you)以(yi)(yi)(yi)贫(pin)鬻(yu)妇者,去几(ji)二(er)(er)载,忽自(zi)归(gui)。云(yun)(yun)初(chu)彼买时,引至(zhi)一(yi)人(ren)(ren)(ren)家,旋(xuan)有(you)(you)一(yi)道(dao)(dao)士至(zhi),携之(zhi)(zhi)入山(shan),意(yi)甚(shen)疑(yi)惧,然业已卖与,无如(ru)(ru)(ru)何。道(dao)(dao)士令闭目(mu),即(ji)闻两耳(er)风(feng)飕(sou)飕(sou),俄令开目(mu),已在一(yi)高峰(feng)上,室(shi)庐华洁,有(you)(you)妇女(nv)二(er)(er)十余人(ren)(ren)(ren),共来问(wen)讯。云(yun)(yun)此(ci)是(shi)仙(xian)府,无苦也(ye)。因(yin)(yin)问(wen)到此(ci)何事,曰(yue)(yue):更番侍祖(zu)(zu)师寝耳(er)。此(ci)间金(jin)银如(ru)(ru)(ru)山(shan)积(ji),珠翠(cui)锦绣,嘉肴珍果,皆役使鬼神,随呼(hu)立至(zhi),服食日(ri)用(yong),皆比拟王侯。惟每月(yue)一(yi)回小痛楚,亦(yi)(yi)不害耳(er)。因(yin)(yin)指曰(yue)(yue):此(ci)处(chu)(chu)仓库,此(ci)处(chu)(chu)庖厨,此(ci)我辈居处(chu)(chu),此(ci)祖(zu)(zu)师居处(chu)(chu)。指最高处(chu)(chu)两室(shi)曰(yue)(yue):此(ci)祖(zu)(zu)师拜(bai)月(yue)拜(bai)斗处(chu)(chu),此(ci)祖(zu)(zu)师炼银处(chu)(chu)。亦(yi)(yi)有(you)(you)给使之(zhi)(zhi)人(ren)(ren)(ren),然无一(yi)男子(zi)也(ye)。自(zi)是(shi)每白昼则呼(hu)入荐枕席,至(zhi)夜则祖(zu)(zu)师升坛礼拜(bai),始各(ge)归(gui)寝。惟月(yue)信(xin)落(luo)红后,则净褫内外衣,以(yi)(yi)(yi)红绒为(wei)巨绠,缚大木上,手足不能丝毫动(dong),并以(yi)(yi)(yi)绵(mian)丸窒口,喑不能声(sheng),祖(zu)(zu)师持金(jin)管如(ru)(ru)(ru)箸,寻视(shi)脉穴,刺入两臂两股肉内,吮吸其(qi)(qi)血(xue),颇为(wei)酷毒。吮吸后,以(yi)(yi)(yi)药末糁创(chuang)孔,即(ji)不觉痛,顷(qing)刻结痂。次日(ri)痂落(luo)如(ru)(ru)(ru)初(chu)矣。其(qi)(qi)地(di)极高,俯视(shi)云(yun)(yun)雨(yu)皆在下,忽一(yi)日(ri)狂飚陡(dou)起,黑云(yun)(yun)如(ru)(ru)(ru)墨压山(shan)顶(ding),雷电激射,势极可怖(bu),祖(zu)(zu)师惶(huang)遽,呼(hu)二(er)(er)十余女(nv),并裸露环抱其(qi)(qi)身如(ru)(ru)(ru)肉屏风(feng),火光(guang)入室(shi)者数次,皆一(yi)掣即(ji)返,俄一(yi)龙(long)爪大如(ru)(ru)(ru)箕(ji),于人(ren)(ren)(ren)丛中攫祖(zu)(zu)师去,霹(pi)雳一(yi)声(sheng),山(shan)谷震动(dong),天(tian)地(di)晦冥,觉昏瞀如(ru)(ru)(ru)睡,梦(meng)稍醒则已卧道(dao)(dao)旁。询(xun)问(wen)居人(ren)(ren)(ren),知去家仅数百里,乃以(yi)(yi)(yi)臂钏(chuan)易敝衣遮体,乞食得(de)归(gui)也(ye)。忻(xin)州(zhou)(zhou)人(ren)(ren)(ren)尚有(you)(you)及见(jian)此(ci)妇者,面(mian)色枯藁(gao),不久患瘵而(er)卒(zu)。盖精血(xue)为(wei)道(dao)(dao)士采尽(jin)矣。据其(qi)(qi)所言(yan)(yan),盖即(ji)烧金(jin)御女(nv)之(zhi)(zhi)士,其(qi)(qi)术灵幻如(ru)(ru)(ru)是(shi),尚不免于天(tian)诛。况(kuang)不得(de)其(qi)(qi)传,徒受妄人(ren)(ren)(ren)之(zhi)(zhi)蛊惑(huo),而(er)冀得(de)神仙(xian),不亦(yi)(yi)傎哉。

江南吴孝廉,朱石君之门生也,美才夭逝,其妇誓以身殉,而屡缢不能死,忽灯下孝廉形见曰:易彩服则死矣。从其言果绝。孝廉乡人录其事,徵诗,作者甚众,余亦为题二律,而石君为作墓志,于孝廉之坎坷,烈妇之慷慨,皆深致悼惜,而此事一字不及。或疑其乡人之粉饰,余曰:非也,文章流别,各有体裁。郭璞注山海经穆天子(zi)传(chuan),于西王母事,铺叙綦详;其注尔(er)雅(ya)释地,于西至西王母句,不(bu)过曰西方昏荒之(zhi)(zhi)国而已,不(bu)更益一语也。盖注经之(zhi)(zhi)体裁当如(ru)是耳(er)。金石之(zhi)(zhi)文(wen)(wen),与史传(chuan)相表(biao)里,不(bu)可(ke)与稗官杂(za)记(ji)比(bi),亦不(bu)可(ke)与词赋比(bi)。石君(jun)博极群书,深知著(zhu)作之(zhi)(zhi)流别,其不(bu)著(zhu)此事于墓志,古文(wen)(wen)法也,岂以(yi)其伪而削之(zhi)(zhi)哉。余老多(duo)遗忘(wang),记(ji)孝廉名承绂,烈妇(fu)之(zhi)(zhi)姓氏(shi),竟(jing)不(bu)能忆,姑存其略于此。俟扈跸回銮,当更求(qiu)其事状(zhuang)详著(zhu)之(zhi)(zhi)焉。

老(lao)仆施祥,尝(chang)乘(cheng)马(ma)(ma)夜行至张(zhang)白,四(si)野空旷,黑暗中有数人掷沙(sha)泥(ni),马(ma)(ma)惊嘶不(bu)进,祥知(zhi)是(shi)鬼(gui)(gui),叱之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)曰(yue)(yue):我不(bu)至尔墟墓间,何为(wei)犯我?群(qun)(qun)鬼(gui)(gui)揶俞曰(yue)(yue):自作剧耳,谁与(yu)尔论理。祥怒(nu)曰(yue)(yue):既不(bu)论理,是(shi)寻斗(dou)也(ye)。即下马(ma)(ma),以鞭横击之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),喧哄良(liang)久,力且不(bu)敌,马(ma)(ma)又跳(tiao)踉(liang)掣其(qi)肘,意方窘急,忽遥见一(yi)鬼(gui)(gui)狂奔来,厉声呼曰(yue)(yue):此吾(wu)好友,尔等毋造次。群(qun)(qun)鬼(gui)(gui)遂散,祥上马(ma)(ma)驰归,亦不(bu)及(ji)问其(qi)为(wei)谁。次日,携酒于昨处(chu)奠(dian)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),祈示(shi)灵响(xiang),寂然不(bu)应矣。祥之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)所友,不(bu)过(guo)厮养(yang)屠沽耳,而九泉(quan)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)下,故人之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)情乃如是(shi)。

门人(ren)吴钟侨尝(chang)(chang)作如(ru)(ru)愿小传,寓言滑稽,以(yi)文(wen)为戏(xi)也。后作蜀(shu)中一(yi)(yi)令,值金川之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)役,以(yi)监运火(huo)药(yao)殁于路,诗文(wen)皆(jie)(jie)散(san)佚,惟(wei)此篇偶得(de)于故纸(zhi)中,附录于此。其(qi)词曰(yue):如(ru)(ru)愿者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),水府之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)女(nv)(nv)神(shen)(shen),昔彭泽清洪君(jun)以(yi)赠庐陵(ling)欧(ou)明者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)是(shi)(shi)也,以(yi)事(shi)事(shi)能(neng)给(ji)人(ren)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)求(qiu)(qiu),故有(you)(you)是(shi)(shi)名。水府在在皆(jie)(jie)有(you)(you)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),其(qi)遇与不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)遇,则系人(ren)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)禄命(ming)耳。有(you)(you)四人(ren)同访道(dao)(dao),涉历江(jiang)海,遇龙神(shen)(shen)召之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)曰(yue):鉴汝等(deng)精进,今(jin)各赐(ci)如(ru)(ru)愿一(yi)(yi)。即有(you)(you)四女(nv)(nv)子(zi)随行(xing),其(qi)一(yi)(yi)人(ren)求(qiu)(qiu)无(wu)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)获(huo)(huo),意(yi)极适,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)数月病且死,女(nv)(nv)子(zi)曰(yue):今(jin)世之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)所享(xiang),皆(jie)(jie)前生(sheng)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)所积,君(jun)夙(su)生(sheng)所积,今(jin)数月销尽矣(yi)(yi)。请归报命(ming),是(shi)(shi)人(ren)果不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)起;又(you)一(yi)(yi)人(ren)求(qiu)(qiu)无(wu)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)获(huo)(huo),意(yi)犹(you)未(wei)已,至(zhi)冬月求(qiu)(qiu)鲜荔巨如(ru)(ru)瓜者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),女(nv)(nv)子(zi)曰(yue):溪壑可盈,是(shi)(shi)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可餍,非神(shen)(shen)道(dao)(dao)所能(neng)给(ji),亦(yi)(yi)(yi)辞去;又(you)一(yi)(yi)人(ren)所求(qiu)(qiu),有(you)(you)获(huo)(huo)有(you)(you)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)获(huo)(huo),以(yi)咎女(nv)(nv)子(zi),女(nv)(nv)子(zi)曰(yue):神(shen)(shen)道(dao)(dao)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)力亦(yi)(yi)(yi)有(you)(you)差等(deng),吾有(you)(you)能(neng)致(zhi)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)能(neng)致(zhi)也,然日中必昃,月盈必亏,有(you)(you)所不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)足,正君(jun)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)福,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)见彼先逝者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)乎?是(shi)(shi)人(ren)惕然,女(nv)(nv)子(zi)遂随之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)去;又(you)一(yi)(yi)人(ren)虽得(de)如(ru)(ru)愿,未(wei)尝(chang)(chang)有(you)(you)求(qiu)(qiu),如(ru)(ru)愿时为自致(zhi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),亦(yi)(yi)(yi)蹙然不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)自安(an),女(nv)(nv)子(zi)曰(yue):君(jun)道(dao)(dao)高矣(yi)(yi),君(jun)福厚矣(yi)(yi),天地鉴之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),鬼神(shen)(shen)佑之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),无(wu)求(qiu)(qiu)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)获(huo)(huo),十倍有(you)(you)求(qiu)(qiu),可无(wu)待乎我(wo),我(wo)惟(wei)阴左右之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)而已矣(yi)(yi)。他日相遇,各道(dao)(dao)其(qi)事(shi),或喜或怅,曰(yue):惜哉,逝者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)闻(wen)也。此钟侨弄笔。狡狯之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)文(wen),偶一(yi)(yi)为之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),以(yi)资惩劝,亦(yi)(yi)(yi)无(wu)所不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)可。如(ru)(ru)累(lei)牍连篇,动成(cheng)卷帙,则非著书之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)体矣(yi)(yi)。

郭石洲言,河南一巨室,宦成归里,年六十余矣,强健如少壮,恒蓄幼妾三四人。至二十岁,则治奁具而嫁之。皆宛然完璧,娶者多阴颂其德,人亦多乐以女鬻之。然在其家时,枕衾狎昵与常人同,或以为但取红铅供药饵,或以为徒悦耳目,实老不能男,莫知其审也。后其家婢媪私泄之,实使女而男淫耳。有老友密叩虚实,殊不自讳,曰:吾血气尚盛,不能绝嗜欲,御女犹可以生子,实惧为身后累;欲鱼男色,又惧艾碽之事,为子孙羞。是以出此间道也。此事奇创,古所未闻。夫闺房之内,何所不有,床第事可勿深论,惟岁岁转易,使良家女得再嫁名,似于人有损,而不稽其婚期,不损其贞体,又似于人有恩。此种公案,竟无以断其是非。戈芥舟前辈曰:是不难断。直恃其多财,法外纵淫耳。昔窦二东之行劫,必留其御寒之衣衾,还乡之资斧,自以为德,此老之有恩亦若是而已矣。
