原序

文(wen)以(yi)(yi)载(zai)道(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao),儒者(zhe)无(wu)不(bu)(bu)能言之(zhi)(zhi)。夫道(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)岂深(shen)隐(yin)莫测秘密不(bu)(bu)传,如佛(fo)家(jia)之(zhi)(zhi)心印,道(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)家(jia)之(zhi)(zhi)口(kou)诀哉!万(wan)事当然(ran)之(zhi)(zhi)理,是即道(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)矣(yi)。故(gu)道(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)在天(tian)地(di),如汞泻地(di),颗(ke)颗(ke)皆(jie)圆,如月(yue)映水,处处皆(jie)见。大至(zhi)于(yu)(yu)治国平天(tian)下(xia),小至(zhi)于(yu)(yu)一(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)事一(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)物一(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)动(dong)一(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)言,无(wu)乎不(bu)(bu)在焉。文(wen),其(qi)(qi)道(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)之(zhi)(zhi)一(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)端(duan)也。文(wen)之(zhi)(zhi)大者(zhe)为(wei)六经,固道(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)所寄矣(yi);降而(er)(er)(er)为(wei)列朝之(zhi)(zhi)史,降而(er)(er)(er)为(wei)诸(zhu)子之(zhi)(zhi)书(shu)(shu),降而(er)(er)(er)为(wei)百氏之(zhi)(zhi)集,是又文(wen)中之(zhi)(zhi)一(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)端(duan),其(qi)(qi)言足以(yi)(yi)明道(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao);再降而(er)(er)(er)稗官(guan)小说,似无(wu)与于(yu)(yu)道(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)矣(yi)。然(ran)汉书(shu)(shu)艺文(wen)志列为(wei)一(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)家(jia),历代(dai)书(shu)(shu)目(mu)亦(yi)皆(jie)著录(lu),岂非以(yi)(yi)荒诞悖(bei)妄者(zhe)?虽不(bu)(bu)足数,其(qi)(qi)近(jin)于(yu)(yu)正者(zhe),于(yu)(yu)人(ren)(ren)心世(shi)道(dao)(dao)(dao)(dao)亦(yi)未尝(chang)无(wu)所脾欤!河间先(xian)(xian)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)以(yi)(yi)学(xue)问文(wen)章负天(tian)下(xia)重望(wang),而(er)(er)(er)天(tian)性孤直,不(bu)(bu)喜(xi)以(yi)(yi)心性空谈(tan)标(biao)榜(bang)门(men)户,亦(yi)不(bu)(bu)喜(xi)才人(ren)(ren)放(fang)诞诗社酒社,夸名士风流。是以(yi)(yi)退食之(zhi)(zhi)余(yu),惟耽(dan)怀典籍,老而(er)(er)(er)懒于(yu)(yu)考索,乃(nai)采掇异闻,时(shi)作(zuo)笔记,以(yi)(yi)寄所欲(yu)(yu)言。滦阳消夏(xia)录(lu)等五书(shu)(shu)俶(ti)诡奇(qi)谲(jue)无(wu)所不(bu)(bu)载(zai),光洋咨肆无(wu)所不(bu)(bu)言,而(er)(er)(er)大旨要归(gui)于(yu)(yu)醇正,欲(yu)(yu)使人(ren)(ren)知所劝惩,故(gu)诲淫导(dao)欲(yu)(yu)之(zhi)(zhi)书(shu)(shu),以(yi)(yi)佳人(ren)(ren)才子相矜者(zhe),虽纸(zhi)贵一(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)时(shi),终渐归(gui)演没(mei),而(er)(er)(er)先(xian)(xian)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)之(zhi)(zhi)书(shu)(shu),则梨枣屡镌,久而(er)(er)(er)不(bu)(bu)厌(yan)。是则华实不(bu)(bu)同之(zhi)(zhi)明验(yan)矣(yi)。顾翻刻(ke)者(zhe)众,讹误实繁(fan),且有妄为(wei)标(biao)目(mu)如明人(ren)(ren)之(zhi)(zhi)刻(ke)冷斋(zhai)夜话者(zhe),读者(zhe)病焉。时(shi)彦(yan)夙从先(xian)(xian)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)游,尝(chang)刻(ke)先(xian)(xian)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)姑妄听之(zhi)(zhi),附跋书(shu)(shu)尾,先(xian)(xian)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)颇以(yi)(yi)为(wei)知言,迩来诸(zhu)板益漫患,乃(nai)请(qing)于(yu)(yu)先(xian)(xian)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng),合(he)五书(shu)(shu)为(wei)一(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)编,而(er)(er)(er)仍(reng)各存(cun)其(qi)(qi)原第,篝灯手校不(bu)(bu)敢惮劳,又请(qing)先(xian)(xian)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)检视一(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)过,然(ran)后摹印。虽先(xian)(xian)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)之(zhi)(zhi)著作(zuo)不(bu)(bu)必藉此刻(ke)以(yi)(yi)传,然(ran)鱼鲁之(zhi)(zhi)舛差稀于(yu)(yu)先(xian)(xian)生(sheng)(sheng)(sheng)教世(shi)之(zhi)(zhi)本志,或亦(yi)不(bu)(bu)无(wu)小补云尔(er)。

郑序

诗二首

千生心力坐销磨.纸上烟云过(guo)眼多(duo)。

拟筑书仓(cang)今老矣(yi).只应说鬼以东(dong)坡。

前因后(hou)果验无(wu)差,琐记搜(sou)罗(luo)鬼(gui)一车(che)。

传语洛闰门弟子.稗官原不入(ru)儒家。
