後娶第四
吉甫(fu),贤父也,伯奇(qi),孝(xiao)子也,以贤父御孝(xiao)子,合得终于天性,而(er)后(hou)妻闲(xian)之,伯奇(qi)遂放。曾(ceng)参妇死,谓其子曰:“吾(wu)不及吉甫(fu),汝不及伯奇(qi)。”王骏(jun)丧妻,亦谓人曰:“我(wo)不及曾(ceng)参,子不如华、元。”并终身不娶,此等(deng)足以为诫。其后(hou),假继惨虐孤遗(yi),离闲(xian)骨肉(rou),伤心(xin)断肠者,何可胜数。慎(shen)之哉(zai)!慎(shen)之哉(zai)!
江左不(bu)讳庶孽,丧(sang)室之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)后(hou),多以(yi)(yi)妾(qie)媵(ying)终(zhong)家事;疥癣蚊虻,或未能(neng)免(mian),限(xian)以(yi)(yi)大分(fen),故稀(xi)斗阋之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)耻(chi)。北鄙于(yu)侧(ce)出,不(bu)预人流(liu),是以(yi)(yi)必须重(zhong)娶(qu),至于(yu)三(san)四(si),母(mu)年有少于(yu)子(zi)者(zhe)。后(hou)母(mu)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)弟,与前(qian)妇之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)兄(xiong),衣服饮食,爰及婚(hun)宦,至于(yu)士(shi)庶贵(gui)贱之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)隔,俗以(yi)(yi)为常。身没之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)后(hou),辞(ci)讼(song)盈公门,谤辱(ru)彰道路,子(zi)诬母(mu)为妾(qie),弟黜兄(xiong)为佣,播(bo)扬先人之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)辞(ci)迹,暴露祖考之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)长短,以(yi)(yi)求(qiu)直己者(zhe),往往而有。悲夫(fu)!自古奸臣佞妾(qie),以(yi)(yi)一言(yan)陷(xian)人者(zhe)众矣!况夫(fu)妇之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)义,晓夕移之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),婢仆求(qiu)容,助相(xiang)说引,积(ji)年累月,安有孝子(zi)乎?此不(bu)可不(bu)畏。
凡(fan)庸(yong)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)性,后(hou)夫(fu)多宠(chong)(chong)前(qian)夫(fu)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)孤,后(hou)妻必(bi)虐前(qian)妻之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)子;非唯妇人怀嫉妒之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)情(qing),丈夫(fu)有沈惑之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)僻(pi),亦(yi)事势使之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)然也(ye)。前(qian)夫(fu)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)孤,不敢与我子争家,提携鞠养,积习(xi)生爱(ai),故宠(chong)(chong)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi);前(qian)妻之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)子,每(mei)居己生之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)上,宦学婚嫁,莫不为防焉,故虐之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)。异姓宠(chong)(chong)则父母被(bei)怨,继(ji)亲虐则兄弟为雠,家有此者,皆门户(hu)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)祸也(ye)。
思鲁等从舅殷外(wai)臣,博达之士也。有(you)子基、谌,皆已成立,而再娶(qu)王(wang)(wang)氏。基每拜见后母(mu),感慕呜咽,不能自持,家人莫(mo)忍仰视。王(wang)(wang)亦凄(qi)怆,不知所容,旬月(yue)求退(tui),便以(yi)礼遣,此亦悔事(shi)也。
后(hou)汉书曰(yue):“安(an)帝时(shi)(shi),汝南(nan)薛包孟尝,好学笃行,丧(sang)母,以至(zhi)孝闻。及父娶后(hou)妻而(er)(er)憎包,分(fen)出之(zhi)。包日(ri)夜号泣,不(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)去,至(zhi)被殴(ou)杖(zhang)。不(bu)(bu)得已(yi),庐(lu)于(yu)(yu)舍外,旦入而(er)(er)洒埽。父怒,又逐之(zhi),乃(nai)(nai)庐(lu)于(yu)(yu)里门(men),昏晨(chen)不(bu)(bu)废。积岁余,父母惭而(er)(er)还之(zhi)。后(hou)行六(liu)年服(fu),丧(sang)过(guo)乎哀。既而(er)(er)弟子求分(fen)财异居,包不(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)止,乃(nai)(nai)中(zhong)分(fen)其财:奴(nu)婢引其老者(zhe),曰(yue):‘与我(wo)共(gong)事(shi)久(jiu),若(ruo)不(bu)(bu)能(neng)(neng)使也。’田庐(lu)取其荒(huang)顿(dun)者(zhe),曰(yue):‘吾少时(shi)(shi)所理(li),意所恋也。’器物取其朽败者(zhe),曰(yue):‘我(wo)素所服(fu)食,身口所安(an)也。’弟子数(shu)破(po)其产,还复赈给。建光中(zhong),公车特征,至(zhi)拜侍中(zhong)。包性恬虚,称疾不(bu)(bu)起(qi),以死自乞。有诏赐告归(gui)也。
