夫(fu)人使下大夫(fu)劳以二竹(zhu)簋方(fang)(fang)(fang),玄(xuan)被(bei)纁里(li),有(you)盖。竹(zhu)簋方(fang)(fang)(fang)者(zhe),器名也。以竹(zhu)为之,状如(ru)簋而方(fang)(fang)(fang),如(ru)今寒具筥(ju)(ju)。筥(ju)(ju)者(zhe)圜,此方(fang)(fang)(fang)耳。

○释曰:自此(ci)尽“以(yi)宾(bin)入”,论夫(fu)(fu)人(ren)劳(lao)(lao)宾(bin)之(zhi)事(shi)。夫(fu)(fu)人(ren)劳(lao)(lao)使下大夫(fu)(fu)者,降于(yu)君,故不使卿(qing)(qing)。凡簋皆用木而圆,受斗(dou)二升(sheng),此(ci)则(ze)(ze)用竹(zhu)而方(fang),故云(yun)“如簋而方(fang)”。受斗(dou)二升(sheng)则(ze)(ze)同。“如今寒(han)具(ju)筥”者,寒(han)具(ju),若《笾(bian)人(ren)》先(xian)郑云(yun):“朝(chao)事(shi),谓清朝(chao)未食(shi),先(xian)进(jin)寒(han)具(ju),口(kou)实之(zhi)笾(bian)实以(yi)冬食(shi)。”故谓之(zhi)寒(han)具(ju)。筥圆,此(ci)方(fang)者,方(fang)圆不同,为(wei)异也。案(an)(an)《玉(yu)人(ren)》云(yun):“案(an)(an)十(shi)有(you)二寸,枣栗(li)十(shi)有(you)二列,诸侯纯九,大夫(fu)(fu)纯五,夫(fu)(fu)人(ren)以(yi)劳(lao)(lao)诸侯。”彼有(you)玉(yu)案(an)(an)者,谓王后法有(you)玉(yu)案(an)(an),并有(you)竹(zhu)簋以(yi)盛枣栗(li),故彼引此(ci)为(wei)证(zheng)。此(ci)诸侯夫(fu)(fu)人(ren)劳(lao)(lao)卿(qing)(qing)大夫(fu)(fu),故无案(an)(an),直有(you)竹(zhu)簋以(yi)盛枣栗(li)。
其实枣蒸栗(li)择,兼执之(zhi)以进。兼犹(you)两也。右(you)手(shou)执枣,左手(shou)执栗(li)。

○释曰:云“兼(jian),犹两”者(zhe),谓一人执两事,知(zhi)“右(you)(you)手(shou)执枣(zao),左(zuo)手(shou)执栗(li)”者(zhe),见下文云“宾受(shou)枣(zao),大夫(fu)二手(shou)授栗(li)”,则大夫(fu)先度右(you)(you)手(shou),乃(nai)以左(zuo)手(shou)共(gong)授栗(li),便(bian)也。明知(zhi)右(you)(you)手(shou)执枣(zao)可知(zhi),必(bi)用右(you)(you)手(shou)执枣(zao)先度之者(zhe),郑(zheng)注(zhu)《士虞礼》云“枣(zao)美,故(gu)用右(you)(you)手(shou)执枣(zao)也”。
宾受枣,大夫二手(shou)授(shou)栗(li)。受授(shou)不游(you)手(shou),慎之也。

傧之(zhi)如(ru)初(chu)。下(xia)大夫劳者(zhe)遂以(yi)宾(bin)入(ru)。出以(yi)束锦授从者(zhe),因东面释辞,请道(dao)之(zhi)以(yi)入(ru),然则宾(bin)送不拜。

○释(shi)(shi)(shi)曰:云“出以(yi)(yi)束(shu)(shu)锦(jin)(jin)授(shou)从(cong)者(zhe),因(yin)东面(mian)(mian)释(shi)(shi)(shi)辞,请(qing)导(dao)(dao)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)”者(zhe),傧(bin)下大(da)夫(fu)(fu)(fu)(fu),如前有束(shu)(shu)锦(jin)(jin),则此(ci)大(da)夫(fu)(fu)(fu)(fu)亦受得束(shu)(shu)锦(jin)(jin)。经言“遂(sui)以(yi)(yi)宾(bin)入(ru)”,明(ming)知有辞请(qing)导(dao)(dao)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)。虽(sui)无文,郑(zheng)(zheng)以(yi)(yi)意言之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)。大(da)夫(fu)(fu)(fu)(fu)在(zai)西,明(ming)出时授(shou)束(shu)(shu)锦(jin)(jin)与(yu)已从(cong)者(zhe),乃得因(yin)东面(mian)(mian)释(shi)(shi)(shi)请(qing)导(dao)(dao)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)辞也。云“然则宾(bin)送(song)不(bu)拜(bai)(bai)”者(zhe),以(yi)(yi)其云遂(sui)以(yi)(yi)宾(bin)入(ru)即从(cong)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),明(ming)宾(bin)送(song)不(bu)拜(bai)(bai),谓若《公(gong)食(shi)大(da)夫(fu)(fu)(fu)(fu)》使人戒(jie)宾(bin),“不(bu)拜(bai)(bai)送(song),遂(sui)从(cong)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)”,其类也。案上君使士请(qing),遂(sui)以(yi)(yi)宾(bin)入(ru),郑(zheng)(zheng)云因(yin)导(dao)(dao)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)。郑(zheng)(zheng)不(bu)言宾(bin)送(song)不(bu)拜(bai)(bai)者(zhe),士请(qing)事空手无币,宾(bin)亦不(bu)傧(bin),请(qing)导(dao)(dao)宾(bin),宾(bin)从(cong)入(ru),无再拜(bai)(bai)送(song)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)理(li)(li),故(gu)郑(zheng)(zheng)不(bu)言宾(bin)送(song)不(bu)拜(bai)(bai)。此(ci)大(da)夫(fu)(fu)(fu)(fu)劳傧(bin),与(yu)卿(qing)同(tong)有拜(bai)(bai)送(song)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)理(li)(li),故(gu)云宾(bin)送(song)不(bu)拜(bai)(bai)也。《觐礼》大(da)夫(fu)(fu)(fu)(fu)劳侯(hou)氏,侯(hou)氏即从(cong)大(da)夫(fu)(fu)(fu)(fu)入(ru),拜(bai)(bai)送(song)大(da)夫(fu)(fu)(fu)(fu)。天子(zi)使尊,故(gu)虽(sui)从(cong)亦拜(bai)(bai)送(song),与(yu)此(ci)异(yi)。
至(zhi)于朝,主人曰:“不腆先君之(zhi)祧(tiao),既拚以俟矣。”宾(bin)至(zhi)外(wai)门,下大夫入告,出释此辞。主人者(zhe),公也(ye)。不言(yan)公而(er)言(yan)主人,主人,接宾(bin)之(zhi)辞,明至(zhi)欲(yu)受(shou)之(zhi),不敢(gan)稽宾(bin)也(ye)。腆犹善也(ye)。迁主所(suo)在(zai)曰祧(tiao)。周礼,天子(zi)七庙(miao),文武(wu)为(wei)祧(tiao),诸(zhu)侯五庙(miao)。则祧(tiao),始祖也(ye),是亦庙(miao)也(ye)。言(yan)祧(tiao)者(zhe),祧(tiao)尊(zun)而(er)庙(miao)亲(qin),待宾(bin)客者(zhe),上尊(zun)者(zhe)。

宾曰(yue):“俟閒(xian)。”宾之意不欲奄卒(zu)主人也。且以道路(lu)悠远,欲沐浴齐戒,俟閒(xian),未(wei)敢闻命。

○释(shi)曰(yue):此(ci)郑(zheng)以意解之(zhi)。上文以意解主君(jun)不(bu)欲稽留於宾(bin)。此(ci)经(jing)解“宾(bin)意不(bu)欲奄(yan)卒主人”,故云“俟(si)閒”。必知(zhi)有齐(qi)(qi)戒(jie)沐(mu)(mu)浴(yu)(yu)者(zhe),案《玉(yu)藻》云:“将適公(gong)所(suo),宿齐(qi)(qi)戒(jie),沐(mu)(mu)浴(yu)(yu)。”彼谓臣见己君(jun)入庙,必须齐(qi)(qi)戒(jie)沐(mu)(mu)浴(yu)(yu),此(ci)有齐(qi)(qi)戒(jie)沐(mu)(mu)浴(yu)(yu)可知(zhi)也。云“未敢(gan)闻命”者(zhe),谓不(bu)腆先君(jun)之(zhi)祧(tiao),既拚以俟(si)之(zhi)命,不(bu)敢(gan)闻之(zhi)也。
大夫(fu)帅至于馆,卿致(zhi)馆。致(zhi),至也。宾至此馆,主人以上卿礼致(zhi)之,所以安之也。

宰(zai)夫朝(chao)服设飧,食(shi)不备礼曰飧。《诗》云“不素飧兮”,《春秋传》曰“方食(shi)鱼飧”,皆谓是。

○释(shi)曰(yue):云“食(shi)不(bu)(bu)(bu)备礼曰(yue)飧(sun)”者,对饔饩(xi)也(ye)(ye)(ye)。生(sheng)与(yu)(yu)腥饪俱(ju)有(you),馀物又多,此(ci)飧(sun)唯有(you)腥饪而无生(sheng),馀物又少,故云不(bu)(bu)(bu)备礼也(ye)(ye)(ye)。引《诗(shi)传》者,案《诗(shi)》云:“彼(bi)君(jun)(jun)子(zi)兮(xi),不(bu)(bu)(bu)素飧(sun)兮(xi)。”毛云:“熟(shu)(shu)食(shi)曰(yue)飧(sun)。”郑云:“读如(ru)(ru)鱼飧(sun)之飧(sun)。”则《诗(shi)》飧(sun)与(yu)(yu)《传》鱼飧(sun)同,是(shi)(shi)直(zhi)食(shi)鱼与(yu)(yu)饭(fan)为(wei)(wei)飧(sun)。彼(bi)少牢,小礼中不(bu)(bu)(bu)备;此(ci)则两大牢,大礼中不(bu)(bu)(bu)备。不(bu)(bu)(bu)备是(shi)(shi)同,故引证一边不(bu)(bu)(bu)备,其(qi)实礼有(you)异也(ye)(ye)(ye)。“《春秋(qiu)传》曰(yue)’方食(shi)鱼飧(sun)‘”者,案宣(xuan)六年经(jing)书晋赵(zhao)盾卫孙免(mian)侵陈,《公(gong)(gong)羊传》曰(yue):“赵(zhao)盾弑(shi)(shi)君(jun)(jun),此(ci)其(qi)复(fu)见(jian)何?亲弑(shi)(shi)君(jun)(jun)者赵(zhao)穿(chuan)也(ye)(ye)(ye)。亲弑(shi)(shi)君(jun)(jun)者,赵(zhao)穿(chuan),则曷为(wei)(wei)加之赵(zhao)盾?不(bu)(bu)(bu)讨贼也(ye)(ye)(ye)。复(fu)国(guo)不(bu)(bu)(bu)讨贼,此(ci)非(fei)弑(shi)(shi)君(jun)(jun)如(ru)(ru)何?赵(zhao)盾之复(fu)国(guo)柰何?灵公(gong)(gong)为(wei)(wei)无道,灵公(gong)(gong)使膳宰(zai)以熊膰(fan)不(bu)(bu)(bu)熟(shu)(shu),公(gong)(gong)杀(sha)之。盾入谏,公(gong)(gong)见(jian)盾再拜(bai)(bai),盾拜(bai)(bai)稽首,归。公(gong)(gong)使勇士(shi)某(mou)者往杀(sha)之,勇士(shi)入门(men),不(bu)(bu)(bu)见(jian)人(ren),闚其(qi)户,方食(shi)鱼飧(sun)。勇士(shi)曰(yue):嘻,子(zi)诚仁(ren)人(ren)也(ye)(ye)(ye),是(shi)(shi)子(zi)之俭也(ye)(ye)(ye),吾(wu)不(bu)(bu)(bu)忍(ren)杀(sha)子(zi)也(ye)(ye)(ye)。虽然(ran),吾(wu)不(bu)(bu)(bu)可(ke)复(fu)见(jian)吾(wu)君(jun)(jun)矣(yi)。遂刎颈而死。”是(shi)(shi)鱼飧(sun)之事。
饪一牢,在西,鼎九(jiu),羞鼎三(san);腥(xing)一牢,在东(dong),鼎七。中(zhong)庭之馔也(ye)(ye)。饪,孰也(ye)(ye)。孰在西,腥(xing)在东(dong),象春秋也(ye)(ye)。鼎西九(jiu)东(dong)七。凡其鼎实与(yu)其陈(chen)(chen),如(ru)陈(chen)(chen)饔(yong)饩。羞鼎则陪(pei)鼎也(ye)(ye),以其实言之,则曰羞,以其陈(chen)(chen)言之,则曰陪(pei)。

几(ji)筵(yan)既设(she),摈者(zhe)(zhe)出请(qing)命。有几(ji)筵(yan)者(zhe)(zhe),以其(qi)庙(miao)受,宜(yi)依神也(ye)。宾至庙(miao)门,司宫(gong)乃(nai)于依前设(she)之(zhi)。神尊,不豫(yu)事(shi)(shi)也(ye)。席西上(shang),上(shang)摈待而(er)出请(qing)受宾所(suo)以来之(zhi)命,重停宾也(ye)。至此言命,事(shi)(shi)弥至,言弥信也(ye)。《周礼》:“诸侯祭祀,席蒲筵(yan),缋纯,右彫几(ji)。”

贾人东面(mian)坐启椟,取圭,垂缫,不(bu)(bu)起而授上介(jie)。贾人乡入陈币(bi),东面(mian)俟,於此言之,就(jiu)有事(shi)也(ye)(ye)。授圭不(bu)(bu)起,贱不(bu)(bu)与为礼(li)也(ye)(ye)。不(bu)(bu)言裼袭者,贱不(bu)(bu)裼也(ye)(ye)。缫,有组系也(ye)(ye)。

宾(bin)袭(xi),执圭(gui)。执圭(gui)盛礼(li),而又尽饰(shi),为其相蔽敬也(ye)。《玉(yu)藻》曰:“服之袭(xi)也(ye),充(chong)美也(ye)。是(shi)故(gu)尸袭(xi),执玉(yu)龟(gui)袭(xi)”也(ye)。
