第二十叁回 文王夜梦飞熊兆

文王守节尽臣忠,仁德兼施造大工;

民力不教胼胝瘁,役钱常赐锦缠红。

西岐社稷如磐石,商邑江山若浪从;

漫道孟津天意合,飞熊入梦已先通。

话说文王(wang)听(ting)散宜生之言,出示(shi)张挂(gua)西岐(qi)各门,惊动军民人等,都来争(zheng)瞧告示(shi)。只见上(shang)书曰:

‘西伯文王示(shi)谕(yu)军(jun)民人等知悉:西岐之境,乃道德之乡;无(wu)兵(bing)戈用武之扰,民安物阜,讼简官(guan)清。孤囚(qiu) 里羁縻,蒙(meng)恩赦宥归(gui)国,因见迩来灾(zai)异频(pin)仍,水旱失度;及查本土(tu),占验灾(zai)祥,竟(jing)无(wu)坛(tan)址。昨观城西有官(guan)地一隅,欲(yu)造一台,名(ming)曰灵(ling)台,以占风候(hou),若验民灾(zai)。又恐(kong)士(shi)木(mu)之繁(fan),有伤尔军(jun)民力役;每日给工(gong)银二钱支用。此工(gong)亦(yi)不(bu)拘日之远近,但随(sui)民便(bian);愿做工(gong)者(zhe),即上部(bu)造,以便(bian)查给,如不(bu)愿者(zhe),各随(sui)经(jing)营,并无(wu)强逼(bi)。为此出示(shi)谕(yu)众通知。’

话(hua)说西(xi)岐(qi)众军(jun)民(min)人等一(yi)见(jian)告(gao)示,大家欢(huan)悦,齐声言曰(yue):‘大王(wang)恩德如(ru)天,莫可图(tu)报。我等日出而(er)嬉游,日入而(er)归宿(su),坐享承平之福,是(shi)皆大王(wang)之所赐(ci)。今大王(wang)欲造灵台(tai),尚言给领(ling)工钱,我等虽肝脑(nao)涂地,手胼足胝,亦所甘(gan)心(xin)(xin)(xin)。况且(qie)为(wei)我百(bai)姓占验灾祥而(er)设,如(ru)何反领(ling)大王(wang)工银(yin)也(ye)。’一(yi)郡(jun)军(jun)民(min)无不(bu)欢(huan)悦,情愿出力造台(tai)。散(san)宜(yi)生知民(min)心(xin)(xin)(xin)如(ru)此(ci),抱本进内启奏文(wen)(wen)王(wang)曰(yue):‘军(jun)民(min)既有此(ci)义举,随传旨(zhi)散(san)给银(yin)两众民(min)领(ling)讫(qi)。’文(wen)(wen)王(wang)对(dui)散(san)宜(yi)生曰(yue):‘可选吉(ji)日破土兴(xing)工。’众军(jun)用(yong)心(xin)(xin)(xin)着意,搬泥运上,伐(fa)木造台(tai)。正是(shi)窗外日光弹(dan)指过,席前花影座间移(yi)。又道是(shi)行见(jian)落花红满地,云时黄菊绽东篱。造灵台(tai)不(bu)满旬(xun)月,管(guan)工官(guan)来(lai)报工完(wan)。文(wen)(wen)王(wang)大喜(xi),随同文(wen)(wen)武官(guan)员排(pai)銮舆出郭,行至(zhi)灵台(tai),观看雕(diao)梁画(hua)栋,台(tai)阁(ge)巍(wei)峨(e),真一(yi)大观也(ye)。有赋为(wei)证:

台高二丈,势(shi)按(an)叁(san)寸;上分(fen)八卦合(he)(he)阴阳,下属九(jiu)宫定(ding)龙(long)虎。四(si)(si)角有(you)四(si)(si)柱之形,左(zuo)右立(li)乾坤(kun)之象;前後配君臣(chen)之义,周(zhou)围有(you)风云之气。此(ci)台上合(he)(he)天(tian)心(xin),下合(he)(he)地户(hu)(hu),中(zhong)合(he)(he)人意(yi)。上合(he)(he)天(tian)心(xin),应四(si)(si)时;下合(he)(he)地户(hu)(hu),属五(wu)行;中(zhong)合(he)(he)意(yi),风调雨顺。文(wen)王有(you)德,使万民而增辉;圣人治世,感百事而无逆。灵(ling)台从此(ci)文(wen)王基,验照(zhao)灾祥扶帝主;正是(shi)治国江山茂,今日灵(ling)台胜鹿台。

话说文(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)王(wang)(wang)(wang)随同两班文(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)武上(shang)得(de)灵台(tai)(tai)(tai),四面一(yi)(yi)(yi)观(guan),文(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)王(wang)(wang)(wang)默言不语。时有(you)上(shang)大(da)夫散宜生出班奏曰(yue)(yue)(yue):‘今日灵台(tai)(tai)(tai)工(gong)完,大(da)王(wang)(wang)(wang)为何(he)不悦(yue)?’文(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)王(wang)(wang)(wang)曰(yue)(yue)(yue):‘非是不悦(yue),此(ci)台(tai)(tai)(tai)虽好,台(tai)(tai)(tai)下欠一(yi)(yi)(yi)池(chi)沼,以应水火(huo)既济(ji),配合阴阳之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)意(yi)。孤欲再开池(chi)沼,又恐(kong)劳伤民(min)(min)力,故此(ci)郁郁耳(er)。’宜生启(qi)曰(yue)(yue)(yue):‘灵台(tai)(tai)(tai)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)工(gong),甚(shen)是浩大(da),尚且不日而(er)成。况于台(tai)(tai)(tai)下一(yi)(yi)(yi)沼,其功(gong)甚(shen)易。’宜生忙(mang)传王(wang)(wang)(wang)旨(zhi):‘台(tai)(tai)(tai)下再开一(yi)(yi)(yi)池(chi)沼,以应本火(huo)既济(ji)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)意(yi)。’说言未了,只(zhi)(zhi)见(jian)众(zhong)民(min)(min)大(da)呼曰(yue)(yue)(yue):‘小(xiao)小(xiao)池(chi)沼,有(you)何(he)难(nan)成?又劳圣(sheng)(sheng)虑。’众(zhong)人(ren)(ren)随将带来(lai)锹锄一(yi)(yi)(yi)时挑挖,内出一(yi)(yi)(yi)付(fu)枯(ku)(ku)骨(gu)(gu),众(zhong)人(ren)(ren)四下抛掷。文(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)王(wang)(wang)(wang)在(zai)(zai)台(tai)(tai)(tai)上(shang)见(jian)众(zhong)人(ren)(ren)抛弃(qi)枯(ku)(ku)骨(gu)(gu),王(wang)(wang)(wang)问曰(yue)(yue)(yue):‘众(zhong)民(min)(min)抛弃(qi)何(he)物?’左右(you)启(qi)奏曰(yue)(yue)(yue):‘此(ci)地掘起(qi)一(yi)(yi)(yi)付(fu)人(ren)(ren)骨(gu)(gu),众(zhong)人(ren)(ren)故加(jia)抛掷。’文(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)王(wang)(wang)(wang)即(ji)传旨(zhi):‘命众(zhong)人(ren)(ren)将枯(ku)(ku)骨(gu)(gu)取来(lai),放在(zai)(zai)一(yi)(yi)(yi)处;用匣盛之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),埋(mai)於(wu)高阜之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)地。岂(qi)有(you)因孤开沼,而(er)暴露此(ci)骸骨(gu)(gu),实(shi)孤之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)罪也(ye)。’众(zhong)人(ren)(ren)听(ting)见(jian)此(ci)言大(da)呼曰(yue)(yue)(yue):‘圣(sheng)(sheng)德之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)君,泽及枯(ku)(ku)骨(gu)(gu);何(he)况我等(deng)人(ren)(ren)民(min)(min),岂(qi)有(you)不沾雨露之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)恩(en)。真(zhen)是广(guang)合人(ren)(ren)心,道施(shi)仁义,西岐获有(you)父母矣(yi)。’众(zhong)民(min)(min)欢(huan)声(sheng)大(da)悦(yue)。文(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)王(wang)(wang)(wang)因在(zai)(zai)灵台(tai)(tai)(tai)看挖池(chi)沼,不觉天色渐晚,回驾不及;文(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)王(wang)(wang)(wang)与众(zhong)文(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)武在(zai)(zai)灵台(tai)(tai)(tai)上(shang)设宴,君臣共乐。席罢之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)後(hou),文(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)武在(zai)(zai)台(tai)(tai)(tai)下安(an)歇,文(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)王(wang)(wang)(wang)台(tai)(tai)(tai)上(shang)设绣榻而(er)寝(qin)。时至(zhi)叁(san)更,正值(zhi)梦(meng)中,忽见(jian)东南(nan)一(yi)(yi)(yi)只(zhi)(zhi)白(bai)额(e)猛虎,胁(xie)生双翼,向帐(zhang)中扑来(lai),文(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)王(wang)(wang)(wang)急叫左右(you),只(zhi)(zhi)听(ting)台(tai)(tai)(tai)後(hou)一(yi)(yi)(yi)声(sheng)响亮(liang),火(huo)光冲霄,文(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)王(wang)(wang)(wang)惊醒(xing),吓了一(yi)(yi)(yi)身(shen)香汗,听(ting)台(tai)(tai)(tai)下已打(da)叁(san)更,文(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)(wen)王(wang)(wang)(wang)自思(si)此(ci)梦(meng)主何(he)吉凶,待到天明,再作(zuo)商议。有(you)诗为证:

‘文王治国造灵台,文武锵锵保驾来;

忽见池沼枯骨现,命将高阜速藏埋。

君臣共乐传杯盏,夜梦飞熊扑帐开;

龙虎风云从此遇,西岐方得栋梁才。’

话说(shuo)次早众文(wen)武上台(tai)(tai)参(can)谒已毕,文(wen)王(wang)(wang)曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):‘大(da)(da)(da)(da)夫散宜(yi)(yi)生(sheng)(sheng)何(he)在(zai)?’散宜(yi)(yi)生(sheng)(sheng)出班见(jian)(jian)礼曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):‘有何(he)宣召?’文(wen)王(wang)(wang)曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):‘孤今夜叁(san)鼓(gu)得(de)一(yi)(yi)(yi)异梦(meng)(meng),梦(meng)(meng)见(jian)(jian)东南有一(yi)(yi)(yi)只(zhi)(zhi)白额猛(meng)虎胁(xie)生(sheng)(sheng)双(shuang)翼(yi),同(tong)帐中扑来,孤急呼左右(you),只(zhi)(zhi)见(jian)(jian)台(tai)(tai)後火(huo)光冲霄,一(yi)(yi)(yi)声(sheng)响亮(liang)惊醒,乃是一(yi)(yi)(yi)梦(meng)(meng)。此(ci)兆不知(zhi)主(zhu)何(he)吉(ji)凶?’散宜(yi)(yi)生(sheng)(sheng)躬(gong)身贺(he)曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):‘此(ci)梦(meng)(meng)乃大(da)(da)(da)(da)王(wang)(wang)之(zhi)(zhi)大(da)(da)(da)(da)吉(ji)兆,大(da)(da)(da)(da)王(wang)(wang)得(de)栋梁之(zhi)(zhi)臣,大(da)(da)(da)(da)宝(bao)之(zhi)(zhi)士(shi),真不让(rang)风后伊尹之(zhi)(zhi)右(you)。’文(wen)王(wang)(wang)曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):‘卿何(he)以见(jian)(jian)得(de)如此(ci)?’宜(yi)(yi)生(sheng)(sheng)曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):‘昔商高宗(zong)曾(ceng)有飞熊入(ru)梦(meng)(meng),得(de)传说(shuo)於(wu)版(ban)之(zhi)(zhi)间(jian)。今主(zhu)上梦(meng)(meng)虎生(sheng)(sheng)两翼(yi)者(zhe),乃熊也。去见(jian)(jian)台(tai)(tai)後火(huo)光,乃火(huo) 之(zhi)(zhi)象。今西方属金(jin),金(jin)见(jian)(jian)火(huo)必 , 寒(han)金(jin),必成大(da)(da)(da)(da)器。此(ci)乃兴周之(zhi)(zhi)大(da)(da)(da)(da)兆,故此(ci)臣特欣贺(he)。’众官(guan)听毕,齐声(sheng)称贺(he)。文(wen)王(wang)(wang)传旨回驾,心欲访贤,以应此(ci)兆不题(ti)。且言姜子牙自(zi)从弃(qi)却朝歌,别了马氏。土遁救了居民,隐於(wu)溪,垂钓(diao)渭水(shui)。子牙一(yi)(yi)(yi)意守时(shi)候命,不管(guan)闲非(fei),日(ri)诵黄庭(ting),悟道修真。苦闷时(shi)持(chi)丝纶倚(yi)绿柳而垂钓(diao),时(shi)时(shi)心上昆仑,刻刻念随师长,难忘道德,朝暮(mu)悬悬。一(yi)(yi)(yi)日(ri)执竿叹息,作诗曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):

‘自别昆仑地,俄然二四年;

商都累半载,直谏在君前。

弃却归西土, 溪执钓先;

何日逢真主?披云再见天。’

子牙(ya)作罢诗,坐於垂杨之下,只见(jian)滔(tao)滔(tao)流(liu)水,无尽(jin)无休,彻夜东行,煞尽(jin)人(ren)间(jian)万苦。正是:惟(wei)有青山流(liu)水依然(ran)在,古(gu)往今来(lai)尽(jin)是空(kong)。子牙(ya)叹毕(bi),只听得(de)一人(ren)作歌而来(lai)。

‘登山过岭,伐(fa)木丁丁;随身板(ban)斧,斫(zhuo)劈(pi)枯 。崖前免走,山後(hou)鹿鸣(ming);树梢异鸟,柳外(wai)黄莺。见了些青松翠(cui)柏,李白桃红(hong);无(wu)(wu)忧(you)樵子,胜似腰金(jin)。担柴一(yi)石,易米(mi)叁升;随时蔬菜,沽酒(jiu)一(yi)瓶。对月邀(yao)饮,乐守山林;深山陋僻,万(wan)壑(he)无(wu)(wu)声。奇花(hua)异草,悦目(mu)赏心;逍遥自在,任意纵横(heng)。

樵(qiao)(qiao)(qiao)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)歌(ge)罢,把一(yi)(yi)担柴放下(xia),近前少憩,问子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)牙(ya)(ya)(ya)曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):‘老(lao)丈我(wo)常时(shi)见(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)在(zai)(zai)此执竿钓鱼,我(wo)和你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)相一(yi)(yi)个(ge)故事(shi)。’子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)牙(ya)(ya)(ya)曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):‘相何(he)(he)故事(shi)?’樵(qiao)(qiao)(qiao)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):‘我(wo)与相一(yi)(yi)个(ge)渔樵(qiao)(qiao)(qiao)问答(da)。’子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)牙(ya)(ya)(ya)大喜:‘好个(ge)渔樵(qiao)(qiao)(qiao)问答(da)!’樵(qiao)(qiao)(qiao)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):‘你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)上(shang)(shang)姓(xing)贵(gui)处?缘何(he)(he)到(dao)此?’子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)牙(ya)(ya)(ya)曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue),‘吾(wu)(wu)乃东海(hai)许洲人(ren)(ren)也,姓(xing)姜名(ming)尚,字子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)牙(ya)(ya)(ya),道号(hao)飞(fei)熊。’樵(qiao)(qiao)(qiao)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)听罢,扬笑(xiao)不(bu)止。子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)牙(ya)(ya)(ya)问樵(qiao)(qiao)(qiao)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):‘你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)姓(xing)甚名(ming)谁(shei)?’樵(qiao)(qiao)(qiao)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):‘吾(wu)(wu)姓(xing)武名(ming)古,祖(zu)贯西岐人(ren)(ren)氏。’子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)牙(ya)(ya)(ya)曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):‘你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)方(fang)(fang)才听吾(wu)(wu)姓(xing)名(ming),反加扬笑(xiao)者(zhe)何(he)(he)也?’武吉(ji)曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):‘你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)方(fang)(fang)才言号(hao)飞(fei)熊,故有此笑(xiao)。’子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)牙(ya)(ya)(ya)曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):‘人(ren)(ren)各有号(hao),何(he)(he)以(yi)为笑(xiao)?’樵(qiao)(qiao)(qiao)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):‘当(dang)时(shi)古人(ren)(ren),高人(ren)(ren),贤人(ren)(ren),圣人(ren)(ren):胸藏万斛珠玑(ji),腹隐(yin)无(wu)边锦绣(xiu)。如风后力牧、伊尹、傅说之(zhi)辈,方(fang)(fang)称(cheng)其号(hao)。似你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)也有此号(hao),名(ming)不(bu)种实,故此笑(xiao)耳。’我(wo)常时(shi)见(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)绊绿柳而(er)垂(chui)竿,别无(wu)营运,守(shou)(shou)枯株而(er)待兔,看此清波,识见(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)未(wei)必(bi)高明,为何(he)(he)亦称(cheng)道号(hao)?武吉(ji)言罢,却将(jiang)溪边钓竿拿(na)起,见(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)线(xian)(xian)上(shang)(shang)那(nei)钧直(zhi)而(er)不(bu)曲,樵(qiao)(qiao)(qiao)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)抚掌大笑(xiao)不(bu)止,对(dui)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)牙(ya)(ya)(ya)点头叹(tan)曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):‘有志不(bu)在(zai)(zai)年(nian)(nian)高,无(wu)谋空言百(bai)岁。’樵(qiao)(qiao)(qiao)子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)问子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)牙(ya)(ya)(ya)曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):‘你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)只钓线(xian)(xian)何(he)(he)为不(bu)曲?古语云:“且(qie)将(jiang)香饵钓金鳌。”我(wo)传你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)一(yi)(yi)法(fa),将(jiang)此针用(yong)火(huo)烧红,打成钩(gou)样,上(shang)(shang)用(yong)香饵;线(xian)(xian)上(shang)(shang)系浮子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi),鱼来吞食,浮子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)自(zi)动(dong),便知(zhi)鱼至。望(wang)上(shang)(shang)一(yi)(yi)提,钩(gou)钓鱼腮,方(fang)(fang)能得鲤,此是捕鱼之(zhi)方(fang)(fang)。似这等钩(gou),莫说叁年(nian)(nian),就百(bai)年(nian)(nian)也无(wu)一(yi)(yi)鱼到(dao)手(shou)。可见(jian)(jian)(jian)(jian)你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)生(sheng)性愚(yu)拙,安得妄号(hao)飞(fei)熊?’子(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)(zi)牙(ya)(ya)(ya)曰(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue)(yue):‘你(ni)(ni)(ni)(ni)只知(zhi)其一(yi)(yi),不(bu)知(zhi)其二(er)。老(lao)夫在(zai)(zai)此,名(ming)虽(sui)垂(chui)钓,我(wo)自(zi)意不(bu)在(zai)(zai)鱼。吾(wu)(wu)在(zai)(zai)此不(bu)过守(shou)(shou)青云而(er)得路,拨尘翳而(er)腾霄。岂可曲中而(er)取鱼乎(hu)?非丈夫之(zhi)所为也。吾(wu)(wu)宁在(zai)(zai)直(zhi)中取,不(bu)向曲中求;不(bu)为锦鳞设,只钓王与侯。吾(wu)(wu)有诗为证:

‘短竿长线守 溪,这个机关那得知;

只钓(diao)当朝君与(yu)相,何(he)尝意(yi)在水中鱼。’

武吉(ji)听罢大笑曰(yue):‘你(ni)这个人也(ye)(ye)想(xiang)王(wang)侯做(zuo),看(kan)(kan)你(ni)那(nei)个嘴(zui)脸(lian)不(bu)(bu)相王(wang)侯,你(ni)到相个活(huo)猴。’子牙也(ye)(ye)笑着曰(yue):‘你(ni)看(kan)(kan)我的嘴(zui)脸(lian)不(bu)(bu)相王(wang)侯,我看(kan)(kan)你(ni)的嘴(zui)脸(lian)也(ye)(ye)不(bu)(bu)甚好。’武吉(ji)曰(yue):‘我的嘴(zui)脸(lian)比你(ni)好些,吾虽樵夫(fu),真比你(ni)快活(huo);春看(kan)(kan)桃李,夏赏(shang)芰荷,秋看(kan)(kan)黄菊,冬(dong)赏(shang)梅松,我也(ye)(ye)有诗:

‘担柴货卖长街上,沽酒回家母子欢;

伐木只知营运乐,放翻天地自家看。’

i)(ji)(ji)(ji)打(da)(da)死(si)(si)王(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)相(xiang)(xiang),非(fei)是(shi)(shi)斗殴杀伤(shang)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)命(ming),自无(wu)(wu)(wu)抵偿(chang)之(zhi)(zhi)理。宜(yi)(yi)(yi)生(sheng)曰(yue)(yue)(yue):‘武(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)吉(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)必(bi)哭(ku),我(wo)往(wang)(wang)(wang)见(jian)千岁(sui)(sui)(sui)启(qi)(qi)(qi)一(yi)(yi)本,放(fang)你(ni)回(hui)(hui)去,办你(ni)母(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)亲(qin)衣衾棺木,柴米(mi)养身(shen)之(zhi)(zhi)费,你(ni)再(zai)等秋後,以正国法(fa)。’武(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)吉(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)叩头:‘谢老爷(ye)大(da)(da)(da)恩(en)。’宜(yi)(yi)(yi)生(sheng)一(yi)(yi)日进便(bian)殿,见(jian)文(wen)王(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)朝贺毕,散(san)宜(yi)(yi)(yi)生(sheng)奏(zou)(zou)曰(yue)(yue)(yue):‘臣(chen)(chen)启(qi)(qi)(qi)大(da)(da)(da)王(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)!前日武(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)吉(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)打(da)(da)伤(shang)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)命(ming)王(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)相(xiang)(xiang),禁於(wu)南(nan)(nan)门(men)(men)(men),臣(chen)(chen)往(wang)(wang)(wang)南(nan)(nan)门(men)(men)(men),忽见(jian)武(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)吉(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)痛(tong)哭(ku)。臣(chen)(chen)问(wen)其故,武(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)吉(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)言老母(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)有(you)七十馀(yu)岁(sui)(sui)(sui),止生(sheng)武(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)吉(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)一(yi)(yi)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren),况(kuang)吉(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)既无(wu)(wu)(wu)兄(xiong)弟(di),又无(wu)(wu)(wu)妻室,其母(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)一(yi)(yi)无(wu)(wu)(wu)所望(wang),吉(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)遭国法(fa),羁陷(xian)莫出,思(si)(si)母(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)必(bi)成沟渠(qu)(qu)之(zhi)(zhi)鬼,因此大(da)(da)(da)哭(ku)。臣(chen)(chen)思(si)(si)王(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)相(xiang)(xiang)人(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)(ren)命(ming),原(yuan)非(fei)斗殴,实乃误伤(shang)。况(kuang)武(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)吉(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)母(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)寡(gua)身(shen)单,不(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)(bu)知(zhi)(zhi)其子(zi)陷(xian)身(shen)於(wu)狱(yu)(yu)。据臣(chen)(chen)愚见(jian),且放(fang)武(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)吉(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)归(gui)(gui)家(jia),以办养母(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)(mu)之(zhi)(zhi)费。棺木衣衾之(zhi)(zhi)资完毕,再(zai)来(lai)抵偿(chang)王(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)相(xiang)(xiang)之(zhi)(zhi)命(ming)。臣(chen)(chen)请(qing)大(da)(da)(da)王(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)旨意定夺。’文(wen)王(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)(wang)听宜(yi)(yi)(yi)生(sheng)之(zhi)(zhi)言,随(sui)即准行(xing),速(su)放(fang)武(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)(wu)吉(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)(ji)归(gui)(gui)家(jia)。诗曰(yue)(yue)(yue):

‘文王出郭验灵台,武吉担柴惹祸胎;

王相死於尖(jian)担下,子牙八十(shi)运(yun)才(cai)来。’

话说武吉出了狱,可怜思家心重;飞奔回来。只见母亲倚门而望,见武吉回来,忙问曰:‘我儿你因甚麽事,这几日才来?为母在家晓夜不安,又恐你在深山穷谷,被虎狼所伤;使为娘的悬心吊胆,废寝忘餐。今日见你,我方心落。不知你为何事今日回。’武吉哭拜在地曰:‘母亲!孩儿不考,前日往南门卖柴,遇文王驾至,我挑担闪躲,塌了尖担,打死门军王相,文王把孩儿禁於狱中,我想母亲在家悬望,又无音信,上无亲人,单身只影,无人奉养,必成沟渠之鬼。我因此放声痛哭。多亏上大夫散宜生老爷启奏,文王放我归家,置办你的衣衾棺木米粮之类,打点停当,孩儿就去偿王相之命。母亲你养我一汤无益了。’道罢大哭。其母听见儿子遭此人命重情,魂不附体,一把扯住武吉悲声哽咽,两□(‘泊’字将‘白’换成‘目’)如珠,对天叹曰:‘我儿忠厚半生,并无欺妄,孝母守分,今日有何事得罪天地,遭此陷□(上‘穴’下‘井’)之灾。我儿你有差池,为娘的焉能有命。’武吉曰:‘前日日孩儿担柴行至溪,见一老人手执竿垂钓;线上拴着一个针,在那里钓鱼。孩儿问他为何不打弯了,安着香饵钓鱼?那老人曰:“宁在直中取,不向曲中求;非为锦鳞,只钓王侯。”孩儿笑他你这个人也想做王侯,你那嘴脸也不相做王侯,好相一个活猴。那老人看看孩儿曰:“我看你的嘴脸也不好。”我问他我怎的不好?那老人说孩儿:“左眼青,右眼红,今日必定打死人。’确确的那日打死了王相。我想那老人嘴极毒,想将起来可恶。’其母问吉曰:‘那老人姓甚名谁?’武吉曰:‘那老人姓姜名尚,道号飞熊。因他说出号来,孩儿故此笑他;他说出这样破话。’老母曰:‘此老看相,莫非有先见之明?我儿!此老人你还去求他救你,此老必是高人。’武吉听了母命,收拾迳往 来见子牙。不知後事如何?且看下回分解。
