王劭
王(wang)劭(shao)(shao),字君懋,太(tai)原晋(jin)阳(yang)人(ren)(ren)也。父(fu)松年,齐(qi)通直散骑侍(shi)郎(lang)。劭(shao)(shao)少(shao)沈默,好读书(shu)(shu)(shu)。弱冠,齐(qi)尚书(shu)(shu)(shu)仆射魏(wei)收辟(pi)参开府军事,累迁太(tai)子舍(she)人(ren)(ren),待诏文林馆。时(shi)祖孝徵、魏(wei)收、阳(yang)休之(zhi)等尝论古事,有所(suo)遗忘,讨阅不(bu)(bu)能得(de),因呼劭(shao)(shao)问之(zhi)。劭(shao)(shao)具论所(suo)出,取书(shu)(shu)(shu)验(yan)之(zhi),一无(wu)舛误。自是(shi)(shi)大(da)为时(shi)人(ren)(ren)所(suo)许(xu),称其(qi)博物。后(hou)迁中书(shu)(shu)(shu)舍(she)人(ren)(ren)。齐(qi)灭(mie),入周(zhou),不(bu)(bu)得(de)调。高祖受禅,授著(zhu)(zhu)作(zuo)佐郎(lang)。以(yi)母忧去职,在家著(zhu)(zhu)《齐(qi)书(shu)(shu)(shu)》。时(shi)制禁私撰史(shi),为内(nei)史(shi)侍(shi)郎(lang)李元(yuan)操所(suo)奏。上(shang)(shang)怒,遣使收其(qi)书(shu)(shu)(shu),览而悦之(zhi)。于(yu)是(shi)(shi)起(qi)为员外散骑侍(shi)郎(lang),修起(qi)居注。劭(shao)(shao)以(yi)古有钻燧改火(huo)之(zhi)义,近(jin)代废绝,于(yu)是(shi)(shi)上(shang)(shang)表请变火(huo),曰:“臣(chen)谨案《周(zhou)官》,四(si)时(shi)变火(huo),以(yi)救(jiu)时(shi)疾(ji)。明火(huo)不(bu)(bu)数变,时(shi)疾(ji)必兴(xing)。圣(sheng)人(ren)(ren)作(zuo)法(fa),岂徒然也!在晋(jin)时(shi),有以(yi)洛阳(yang)火(huo)渡江者,代代事之(zhi),相(xiang)续不(bu)(bu)灭(mie),火(huo)色变青。昔师旷食(shi)饭,云是(shi)(shi)劳薪所(suo)爨。晋(jin)平(ping)公使视之(zhi),果(guo)然车辋(wang)。今温酒及(ji)炙肉,用石炭、柴火(huo)、竹火(huo)、草(cao)火(huo)、麻荄火(huo),气味各不(bu)(bu)同。以(yi)此(ci)推(tui)之(zhi),新火(huo)旧火(huo),理应有异。伏愿远遵先圣(sheng),于(yu)五时(shi)取五木以(yi)变火(huo),用功甚少(shao),救(jiu)益(yi)方大(da)。纵使百姓习久(jiu),未能顿同,尚食(shi)内(nei)厨及(ji)东宫(gong)诸主食(shi)厨,不(bu)(bu)可不(bu)(bu)依古法(fa)。”上(shang)(shang)从之(zhi)。劭(shao)(shao)又言上(shang)(shang)有龙颜戴干之(zhi)表,指示群(qun)臣(chen)。上(shang)(shang)大(da)悦,赐物数百段(duan)。拜(bai)著(zhu)(zhu)作(zuo)郎(lang)。劭(shao)(shao)上(shang)(shang)表言符命(ming)曰:
昔(xi)(xi)周(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)保(bao)定二年(nian)(nian),岁在(zai)壬午(wu),五(wu)(wu)月五(wu)(wu)日,青州(zhou)黄河(he)变(bian)清(qing),十(shi)里(li)镜澈,齐氏以(yi)为(wei)(wei)(wei)己瑞,改元(yuan)(yuan)曰(yue)(yue)河(he)清(qing)。是月,至(zhi)(zhi)尊(zun)(zun)以(yi)大(da)兴公始(shi)作隋州(zhou)刺史,历年(nian)(nian)二十(shi),隋果大(da)兴。臣(chen)谨(jin)案(an)《易坤灵(ling)图(tu)(tu)》曰(yue)(yue):“圣(sheng)人(ren)(ren)(ren)受命(ming),瑞先见于河(he)。河(he)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)最浊,未能清(qing)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。”窃以(yi)灵(ling)贶休祥,理无虚发,河(he)清(qing)启(qi)圣(sheng),实属(shu)大(da)隋。午(wu)为(wei)(wei)(wei)鹑(chun)火,以(yi)明火德(de)(de),仲(zhong)夏火王,亦明火德(de)(de)。月五(wu)(wu)日五(wu)(wu),合天(tian)数地(di)数,既得(de)(de)受命(ming)之(zhi)(zhi)辰(chen),允当先见之(zhi)(zhi)兆。开皇初,邵州(zhou)人(ren)(ren)(ren)杨(yang)令(ling)悊近(jin)河(he),得(de)(de)青石图(tu)(tu)一,紫石图(tu)(tu)一,皆(jie)隐(yin)起成文(wen),有(you)(you)(you)至(zhi)(zhi)尊(zun)(zun)名,下云(yun)(yun):“八(ba)方(fang)天(tian)心。” 永州(zhou)又得(de)(de)石图(tu)(tu),剖为(wei)(wei)(wei)两段,有(you)(you)(you)杨(yang)树之(zhi)(zhi)形(xing)(xing),黄根紫叶(ye)。汝水得(de)(de)神龟,腹下有(you)(you)(you)文(wen)曰(yue)(yue): “天(tian)卜(bu)杨(yang)兴。”安邑掘地(di),得(de)(de)古铁(tie)版,文(wen)曰(yue)(yue):“皇始(shi)天(tian)年(nian)(nian),赉杨(yang)铁(tie)券(quan),王兴。”同州(zhou)得(de)(de)石龟,文(wen)曰(yue)(yue):“天(tian)子延千年(nian)(nian),大(da)吉(ji)。”臣(chen)以(yi)前之(zhi)(zhi)三(san)石,不(bu)(bu)异龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)图(tu)(tu)。何以(yi)用石?石体久(jiu)固(gu),义与(yu)上名符(fu)合。龟腹七字,何以(yi)著龟?龟亦久(jiu)固(gu),兼是神灵(ling)之(zhi)(zhi)物。孔(kong)子叹河(he)不(bu)(bu)出(chu)图(tu)(tu),洛(luo)不(bu)(bu)出(chu)书(shu),今(jin)于大(da)隋圣(sheng)世(shi),图(tu)(tu)书(shu)屡出(chu)。建德(de)(de)六(liu)年(nian)(nian),亳(bo)(bo)州(zhou)大(da)周(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)村(cun)有(you)(you)(you)龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)斗(dou),白(bai)(bai)(bai)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)胜,黑(hei)(hei)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)死。大(da)象(xiang)元(yuan)(yuan)年(nian)(nian)夏,焚阳(yang)(yang)汴水北有(you)(you)(you)龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)斗(dou),初见白(bai)(bai)(bai)气属(shu)天(tian),自东(dong)(dong)方(fang)历阳(yang)(yang)武(wu)而(er)(er)来。及至(zhi)(zhi),白(bai)(bai)(bai)龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),长(zhang)十(shi)许(xu)丈。有(you)(you)(you)黑(hei)(hei)龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)乘云(yun)(yun)而(er)(er)至(zhi)(zhi),两相薄,乍(zha)合乍(zha)离,自午(wu)至(zhi)(zhi)申(shen),白(bai)(bai)(bai)龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)升天(tian),黑(hei)(hei)龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)坠地(di)。谨(jin)案(an):龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long),君象(xiang)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。前斗(dou)于亳(bo)(bo)州(zhou)周(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)村(cun)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),盖象(xiang)至(zhi)(zhi)尊(zun)(zun)以(yi)龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)斗(dou)之(zhi)(zhi)岁为(wei)(wei)(wei)亳(bo)(bo)州(zhou)总管,遂(sui)代周(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)有(you)(you)(you)天(tian)下。后斗(dou)于荧(ying)阳(yang)(yang)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),“荧(ying)”字三(san)火,明火德(de)(de)之(zhi)(zhi)盛(sheng)(sheng)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。白(bai)(bai)(bai)龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)从东(dong)(dong)方(fang)来,历阳(yang)(yang)武(wu)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),盖象(xiang)至(zhi)(zhi)尊(zun)(zun)将(jiang)登(deng)帝位(wei),从东(dong)(dong)第入自崇阳(yang)(yang)门也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。西(xi)北升天(tian)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),当乾(qian)位(wei)天(tian)门。《坤灵(ling)图(tu)(tu)》曰(yue)(yue):“圣(sheng)人(ren)(ren)(ren)杀龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)。”龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)不(bu)(bu)可得(de)(de)而(er)(er)杀,皆(jie)盛(sheng)(sheng)气也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。又曰(yue)(yue): “泰(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)姓(xing)商(shang)(shang)名宫(gong),黄色(se)(se),长(zhang)八(ba)尺,六(liu)十(shi)世(shi),河(he)龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)以(yi)正(zheng)月辰(chen)见,白(bai)(bai)(bai)龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)与(yu)五(wu)(wu)黑(hei)(hei)龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)斗(dou),白(bai)(bai)(bai)龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)陵(ling),故泰(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)人(ren)(ren)(ren)有(you)(you)(you)命(ming)。”谨(jin)案(an):此言皆(jie)为(wei)(wei)(wei)大(da)隋而(er)(er)发也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。圣(sheng)人(ren)(ren)(ren)杀龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),前后龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)死是也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。姓(xing)商(shang)(shang)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),皇家于五(wu)(wu)姓(xing)为(wei)(wei)(wei)商(shang)(shang)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。名宫(gong)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),武(wu)元(yuan)(yuan)皇帝讳于五(wu)(wu)声为(wei)(wei)(wei)宫(gong)。黄色(se)(se)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),隋色(se)(se)尚(shang)黄。长(zhang)八(ba)尺者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),武(wu)元(yuan)(yuan)皇帝身长(zhang)八(ba)尺。河(he)龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)以(yi)正(zheng)月辰(chen)见者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),泰(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)正(zheng)月卦(gua),龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)见之(zhi)(zhi)所(suo)(suo),于京(jing)师为(wei)(wei)(wei)辰(chen)地(di)。白(bai)(bai)(bai)龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)与(yu)黑(hei)(hei)龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)斗(dou)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),亳(bo)(bo)州(zhou)荧(ying)阳(yang)(yang)龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)斗(dou)是也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。胜龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)所(suo)(suo)以(yi)白(bai)(bai)(bai)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),杨(yang)姓(xing)纳音为(wei)(wei)(wei)商(shang)(shang),至(zhi)(zhi)尊(zun)(zun)又辛酉岁生,位(wei)皆(jie)在(zai)西(xi)方(fang),西(xi)方(fang)色(se)(se)白(bai)(bai)(bai)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。死龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)所(suo)(suo)以(yi)黑(hei)(hei)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),周(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)色(se)(se)黑(hei)(hei)。所(suo)(suo)以(yi)称五(wu)(wu)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),周(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)闵、明、武(wu)、宣、靖凡五(wu)(wu)帝。赵、陈、代、越、滕(teng)五(wu)(wu)王,一时伏(fu)法,亦当五(wu)(wu)数。白(bai)(bai)(bai)龙(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)(long)陵(ling)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),陵(ling)犹胜也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。郑玄(xuan)说(shuo):“陵(ling)当为(wei)(wei)(wei)除。”凡斗(dou)能去敌曰(yue)(yue)除。臣(chen)以(yi)泰(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)人(ren)(ren)(ren)有(you)(you)(you)命(ming)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),泰(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)之(zhi)(zhi)为(wei)(wei)(wei)言通也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),大(da)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),明其人(ren)(ren)(ren)道通德(de)(de)大(da),有(you)(you)(you)天(tian)命(ming)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。《乾(qian)凿度》曰(yue)(yue):“泰(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)表(biao)(biao)戴(dai)干。” 郑玄(xuan)注云(yun)(yun):“表(biao)(biao)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),人(ren)(ren)(ren)形(xing)(xing)体之(zhi)(zhi)彰识也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。干,盾也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。泰(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)人(ren)(ren)(ren)之(zhi)(zhi)表(biao)(biao)戴(dai)干。”臣(chen)伏(fu)见至(zhi)(zhi)尊(zun)(zun)有(you)(you)(you)戴(dai)干之(zhi)(zhi)表(biao)(biao),益知(zhi)泰(tai)(tai)(tai)(tai)人(ren)(ren)(ren)之(zhi)(zhi)表(biao)(biao)不(bu)(bu)爽(shuang)毫厘。《坤灵(ling)图(tu)(tu)》所(suo)(suo)云(yun)(yun),字字皆(jie)验。《纬书(shu)》又称 “汉四百年(nian)(nian)”,终如其言,则知(zhi)六(liu)十(shi)世(shi)亦必(bi)然矣。昔(xi)(xi)宗周(zhou)(zhou)(zhou)卜(bu)世(shi)三(san)十(shi),今(jin)则倍(bei)之(zhi)(zhi)。
《稽(ji)览(lan)图》云(yun)(yun):“太平(ping)时(shi),阴阳(yang)(yang)和合(he),风雨咸(xian)同,海内不(bu)偏(pian),地有阻(zu)险,故风有迟疾(ji)。虽太平(ping)之(zhi)政,犹(you)有不(bu)能均(jun)(jun)同,唯平(ping)均(jun)(jun)乃不(bu)鸣(ming)条,故欲风于亳(bo)。亳(bo)者(zhe),陈(chen)(chen)留(liu)也(ye)。”谨(jin)案:此(ci)(ci)言(yan)盖明至(zhi)尊(zun)者(zhe)为(wei)(wei)陈(chen)(chen)留(liu)公世子(zi)(zi)(zi),亳(bo)州总管,遂受天(tian)命,海内均(jun)(jun)同,不(bu)偏(pian)不(bu)党,以成太平(ping)之(zhi)风化(hua)也(ye)。在(zai)大统十六(liu)年,武(wu)(wu)元(yuan)皇帝(di)(di)改封陈(chen)(chen)留(liu)公。是(shi)(shi)(shi)时(shi)齐国有《秘记》云(yun)(yun):“天(tian)王陈(chen)(chen)留(liu)入并州。”齐王高洋为(wei)(wei)是(shi)(shi)(shi)诛陈(chen)(chen)留(liu)王彭乐。其(qi)后武(wu)(wu)元(yuan)皇帝(di)(di)果将兵入并州。周武(wu)(wu)帝(di)(di)时(shi),望(wang)气者(zhe)云(yun)(yun)亳(bo)州有天(tian)子(zi)(zi)(zi)气,于是(shi)(shi)(shi)杀亳(bo)州刺史纥豆陵恭,至(zhi)尊(zun)代为(wei)(wei)之(zhi)。又陈(chen)(chen)留(liu)老子(zi)(zi)(zi)祠有枯(ku)柏(bo),世传云(yun)(yun)老子(zi)(zi)(zi)将度世,云(yun)(yun)待枯(ku)柏(bo)生(sheng)东(dong)南枝回(hui)指(zhi),当有圣人出(chu),吾道(dao)复行。至(zhi)齐,枯(ku)柏(bo)从(cong)下生(sheng)枝,东(dong)南上指(zhi)。夜(ye)有三童子(zi)(zi)(zi)相与歌曰:“老子(zi)(zi)(zi)庙(miao)前(qian)古(gu)枯(ku)树,东(dong)南状如伞,圣主从(cong)此(ci)(ci)去。”及至(zhi)尊(zun)牧亳(bo)州,亲至(zhi)祠树之(zhi)下。自是(shi)(shi)(shi)柏(bo)枝回(hui)抱,其(qi)枯(ku)枝,渐(jian)指(zhi)西北,道(dao)教果行。校考众事,太平(ping)主出(chu)于亳(bo)州陈(chen)(chen)留(liu)之(zhi)地,皆(jie)(jie)如所(suo)言(yan)。《稽(ji)览(lan)图》又云(yun)(yun):“治道(dao)得,则阴物变(bian)为(wei)(wei)阳(yang)(yang)物。”郑(zheng)玄注云(yun)(yun):“葱变(bian)为(wei)(wei)韭(jiu)亦是(shi)(shi)(shi)。”谨(jin)案:自六(liu)年以来,远近(jin)山石,多变(bian)为(wei)(wei)玉,石为(wei)(wei)阴,玉为(wei)(wei)阳(yang)(yang)。又左卫园中葱皆(jie)(jie)变(bian)为(wei)(wei)韭(jiu)。
上览之大悦,赐物五百(bai)段(duan)。未几,劭复上书曰:
《易(yi)(yi)乾凿(zao)度(du)》曰(yue):“随(sui)(sui)(sui)(sui)(sui)上(shang)(shang)六,拘(ju)系(xi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),乃从(cong)维(wei)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),王用享(xiang)于(yu)西(xi)(xi)山(shan)。随(sui)(sui)(sui)(sui)(sui)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)二月(yue)(yue)卦,阳(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)德(de)(de)(de)施(shi)行,籓(fan)决难解(jie),万(wan)(wan)物随(sui)(sui)(sui)(sui)(sui)阳(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)而出(chu)。故(gu)(gu)上(shang)(shang)六欲(yu)九(jiu)五拘(ju)系(xi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),维(wei)持(chi)(chi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),明(ming)(ming)被(bei)阳(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)化(hua)而阴(yin)(yin)随(sui)(sui)(sui)(sui)(sui)从(cong)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)也(ye)(ye)(ye)。”《易(yi)(yi)稽览(lan)图》:“坤六月(yue)(yue),有子女,任政,一年(nian),传为(wei)(wei)(wei)复(fu)。五月(yue)(yue)贫(pin)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)从(cong)东(dong)(dong)(dong)北(bei)(bei)(bei)来立(li)(li),大(da)(da)(da)起(qi)(qi)土邑(yi),西(xi)(xi)北(bei)(bei)(bei)地动(dong)(dong)星坠,阳(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)卫。屯十(shi)一月(yue)(yue)神(shen)(shen)人(ren)(ren)从(cong)中山(shan)出(chu),赵地动(dong)(dong)。北(bei)(bei)(bei)方三(san)(san)十(shi)日,千里马数至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)。”谨案:“凡此(ci)《易(yi)(yi)》纬所言(yan),皆(jie)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)大(da)(da)(da)隋(sui)符命(ming)。随(sui)(sui)(sui)(sui)(sui)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)二月(yue)(yue)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)卦,明(ming)(ming)大(da)(da)(da)隋(sui)以(yi)(yi)二月(yue)(yue)即皇帝位也(ye)(ye)(ye)。阳(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)德(de)(de)(de)施(shi)行者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),明(ming)(ming)杨(yang)(yang)氏之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)德(de)(de)(de)教施(shi)行于(yu)天下也(ye)(ye)(ye)。籓(fan)决难解(jie)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),明(ming)(ming)当时(shi)(shi)籓(fan)鄣皆(jie)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)通(tong)决,险难皆(jie)解(jie)散也(ye)(ye)(ye)。万(wan)(wan)物随(sui)(sui)(sui)(sui)(sui)阳(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)而出(chu)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),明(ming)(ming)天地间万(wan)(wan)物尽(jin)随(sui)(sui)(sui)(sui)(sui)杨(yang)(yang)氏而出(chu)见也(ye)(ye)(ye)。上(shang)(shang)六欲(yu)九(jiu)五拘(ju)系(xi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),五为(wei)(wei)(wei)王,六为(wei)(wei)(wei)宗(zong)庙(miao),明(ming)(ming)宗(zong)庙(miao)神(shen)(shen)灵欲(yu)令(ling)登(deng)九(jiu)五之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)位,帝王拘(ju)民(min)(min)(min)以(yi)(yi)礼,系(xi)民(min)(min)(min)以(yi)(yi)义也(ye)(ye)(ye)。“拘(ju)民(min)(min)(min)以(yi)(yi)礼”,系(xi)民(min)(min)(min)以(yi)(yi)义”,此(ci)二句亦是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)《乾凿(zao)度(du)》之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)言(yan)。维(wei)持(chi)(chi)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),明(ming)(ming)能以(yi)(yi)纲(gang)维(wei)持(chi)(chi)正天下也(ye)(ye)(ye)。被(bei)阳(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)化(hua)而欲(yu)阴(yin)(yin)随(sui)(sui)(sui)(sui)(sui)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),明(ming)(ming)阴(yin)(yin)类(lei)被(bei)服杨(yang)(yang)氏之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)风化(hua),莫不随(sui)(sui)(sui)(sui)(sui)从(cong)。阴(yin)(yin)谓臣(chen)下也(ye)(ye)(ye)。王用享(xiang)于(yu)西(xi)(xi)山(shan)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),盖明(ming)(ming)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)尊(zun)常(chang)以(yi)(yi)岁二月(yue)(yue)幸西(xi)(xi)山(shan)仁(ren)寿(shou)宫也(ye)(ye)(ye)。凡四(si)称(cheng)随(sui)(sui)(sui)(sui)(sui),三(san)(san)称(cheng)阳(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang),欲(yu)美隋(sui)杨(yang)(yang),丁宁之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)也(ye)(ye)(ye)。坤六月(yue)(yue)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),坤位在(zai)未(wei)(wei),六月(yue)(yue)建未(wei)(wei),言(yan)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)尊(zun)以(yi)(yi)六月(yue)(yue)生也(ye)(ye)(ye)。有子女任政者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),言(yan)乐平公主(zhu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)皇帝子女,而为(wei)(wei)(wei)周后,任理内政也(ye)(ye)(ye)。一年(nian)传为(wei)(wei)(wei)复(fu)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),复(fu)是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)坤之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)一世卦,阳(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)气(qi)初生,言(yan)周宣(xuan)帝崩(beng)后一年(nian),传位与杨(yang)(yang)氏也(ye)(ye)(ye)。五月(yue)(yue)贫(pin)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)从(cong)东(dong)(dong)(dong)北(bei)(bei)(bei)来立(li)(li)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),“贫(pin)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)”当为(wei)(wei)(wei)“真(zhen)人(ren)(ren)”,字之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)误也(ye)(ye)(ye)。言(yan)周宣(xuan)帝以(yi)(yi)五月(yue)(yue)崩(beng),真(zhen)人(ren)(ren)革命(ming),当在(zai)此(ci)时(shi)(shi),至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)尊(zun)谦(qian)让而逆天意,故(gu)(gu)逾(yu)年(nian)乃立(li)(li)。昔(xi)为(wei)(wei)(wei)定州总管,在(zai)京(jing)师(shi)东(dong)(dong)(dong)北(bei)(bei)(bei),本而言(yan)之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi),故(gu)(gu)曰(yue)真(zhen)人(ren)(ren)从(cong)东(dong)(dong)(dong)北(bei)(bei)(bei)来立(li)(li)。大(da)(da)(da)起(qi)(qi)土邑(yi)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),大(da)(da)(da)起(qi)(qi)即大(da)(da)(da)兴,言(yan)营大(da)(da)(da)兴城邑(yi)也(ye)(ye)(ye)。西(xi)(xi)北(bei)(bei)(bei)地动(dong)(dong)星坠者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),盖天意去周授隋(sui),故(gu)(gu)变动(dong)(dong)也(ye)(ye)(ye)。阳(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)(yang)卫者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),言(yan)杨(yang)(yang)氏得天卫助。屯十(shi)一月(yue)(yue)神(shen)(shen)人(ren)(ren)从(cong)中山(shan)出(chu)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),此(ci)卦动(dong)(dong)而大(da)(da)(da)亨(heng)作(zuo)(zuo)(zuo),故(gu)(gu)至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)尊(zun)以(yi)(yi)十(shi)一月(yue)(yue)被(bei)授亳州总管,将从(cong)中山(shan)而出(chu)也(ye)(ye)(ye)。赵之(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)时(shi)(shi),停留三(san)(san)十(shi)日也(ye)(ye)(ye)。千里马者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),盖至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)尊(zun)旧所乘(cheng)狖骝马也(ye)(ye)(ye)。屯卦震下坎上(shang)(shang),震于(yu)马作(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)足,坎于(yu)马为(wei)(wei)(wei)美脊,是(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)(shi)故(gu)(gu)狖骝马脊有肉鞍,行则(ze)先作(zuo)(zuo)(zuo)弄四(si)足也(ye)(ye)(ye)。数至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)者(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe)(zhe),言(yan)历数至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)也(ye)(ye)(ye)。
《河(he)(he)(he)图帝通纪(ji)》曰:“形(xing)瑞(rui)(rui)(rui)出(chu)(chu)(chu),变(bian)矩(ju)衡(heng)(heng)。赤应(ying)随,叶(ye)灵(ling)皇(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)。”《河(he)(he)(he)图皇(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)参持》曰:“皇(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)辟出(chu)(chu)(chu),承(cheng)元讫。道(dao)(dao)无为(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei),治率(lv)。被遂(sui)矩(ju),戏(xi)作术。开(kai)(kai)皇(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)色(se),握神(shen)日(ri)(ri)(ri)。投辅(fu)(fu)(fu)(fu)提,象(xiang)不(bu)(bu)绝(jue)。立(li)皇(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)后,翼不(bu)(bu)格(ge)。道(dao)(dao)终(zhong)(zhong)始,德(de)(de)优(you)劣(lie)(lie)。帝任政(zheng),河(he)(he)(he)曲出(chu)(chu)(chu)。叶(ye)辅(fu)(fu)(fu)(fu)嬉,烂(lan)可述。”谨案:凡此《河(he)(he)(he)图》所言(yan)(yan),亦是大(da)隋(sui)(sui)符命(ming)。形(xing)瑞(rui)(rui)(rui)出(chu)(chu)(chu)、变(bian)矩(ju)衡(heng)(heng)者(zhe),矩(ju),法也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),衡(heng)(heng),北(bei)(bei)斗(dou)星名,所谓璇(xuan)玑玉(yu)衡(heng)(heng)者(zhe)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。大(da)隋(sui)(sui)受命(ming),形(xing)兆之瑞(rui)(rui)(rui)始出(chu)(chu)(chu),天(tian)(tian)象(xiang)则为(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)之变(bian)动。北(bei)(bei)斗(dou)主天(tian)(tian)之法度,故(gu)(gu)曰矩(ju)衡(heng)(heng)。《易》纬“伏戏(xi)矩(ju)衡(heng)(heng)神(shen)”,郑玄注亦以(yi)为(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)法玉(yu)衡(heng)(heng)之神(shen)。与(yu)此《河(he)(he)(he)图》矩(ju)衡(heng)(heng)义同(tong)。赤应(ying)隋(sui)(sui)者(zhe),言(yan)(yan)赤帝降精,感应(ying)而(er)生隋(sui)(sui)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。故(gu)(gu)隋(sui)(sui)以(yi)火(huo)德(de)(de)为(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)赤帝天(tian)(tian)子(zi)。叶(ye)灵(ling)皇(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)者(zhe),叶(ye),合也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),言(yan)(yan)大(da)隋(sui)(sui)德(de)(de)合上灵(ling)天(tian)(tian)皇(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)大(da)帝也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。又年号开(kai)(kai)皇(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang),与(yu)《灵(ling)宝经》之开(kai)(kai)皇(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)年相合,故(gu)(gu)曰叶(ye)灵(ling)皇(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)。皇(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)辟出(chu)(chu)(chu)者(zhe),皇(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang),大(da)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),辟,君也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),大(da)君出(chu)(chu)(chu)盖谓至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)尊受命(ming)出(chu)(chu)(chu)为(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)天(tian)(tian)子(zi)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。承(cheng)元讫者(zhe),言(yan)(yan)承(cheng)周天(tian)(tian)元终(zhong)(zhong)讫之运也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。道(dao)(dao)无为(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)、治率(lv)者(zhe),治下脱一(yi)字,言(yan)(yan)大(da)道(dao)(dao)无为(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei),治定天(tian)(tian)下率(lv)从。被遂(sui)矩(ju)、戏(xi)作术者(zhe),矩(ju),法也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。昔(xi)遂(sui)皇(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)握机(ji)矩(ju),伏戏(xi)作八(ba)卦之术,言(yan)(yan)大(da)隋(sui)(sui)被服(fu)三皇(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)之法术也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。遂(sui)皇(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)机(ji)矩(ju),语见《易》纬。开(kai)(kai)皇(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)色(se)者(zhe),言(yan)(yan)开(kai)(kai)皇(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)年易服(fu)色(se)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。握神(shen)日(ri)(ri)(ri)者(zhe),握持群(qun)神(shen),明照如日(ri)(ri)(ri)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。又开(kai)(kai)皇(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)以(yi)来日(ri)(ri)(ri)渐长(zhang),亦其义。投辅(fu)(fu)(fu)(fu)提者(zhe),言(yan)(yan)投授(shou)政(zheng)事(shi)于辅(fu)(fu)(fu)(fu)佐,使之提挈也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。象(xiang)不(bu)(bu)绝(jue)者(zhe),法象(xiang)不(bu)(bu)废绝(jue)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。立(li)皇(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)后、翼不(bu)(bu)格(ge)者(zhe),格(ge),至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),言(yan)(yan)本(ben)立(li)太子(zi)以(yi)为(wei)(wei)(wei)(wei)皇(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)家后嗣,而(er)其辅(fu)(fu)(fu)(fu)翼之人不(bu)(bu)能至(zhi)(zhi)(zhi)于善也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。道(dao)(dao)终(zhong)(zhong)始、德(de)(de)优(you)劣(lie)(lie)者(zhe),言(yan)(yan)前(qian)东宫(gong)道(dao)(dao)终(zhong)(zhong)而(er)德(de)(de)劣(lie)(lie),今皇(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)太子(zi)道(dao)(dao)始而(er)德(de)(de)优(you)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。帝任政(zheng)、河(he)(he)(he)曲出(chu)(chu)(chu)者(zhe),言(yan)(yan)皇(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)帝亲任政(zheng)事(shi),而(er)邵州(zhou)河(he)(he)(he)滨得石图也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。叶(ye)辅(fu)(fu)(fu)(fu)嬉、烂(lan)可述者(zhe),叶(ye),合也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),嬉,兴也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye),言(yan)(yan)群(qun)臣合心辅(fu)(fu)(fu)(fu)佐,以(yi)兴政(zheng)治,烂(lan)然(ran)可纪(ji)述也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。所以(yi)于《皇(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)参持》、《帝通纪(ji)》二篇陈(chen)大(da)隋(sui)(sui)符命(ming)者(zhe),明皇(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)(huang)道(dao)(dao)帝德(de)(de),尽在隋(sui)(sui)也(ye)(ye)(ye)(ye)。
上(shang)大(da)悦(yue),以劭为至诚(cheng),宠锡日(ri)隆(long)。时有(you)(you)(you)人(ren)于(yu)(yu)黄凤泉浴,得二(er)白石,颇有(you)(you)(you)文(wen)理,遂附致其(qi)(qi)文(wen)以为字(zi)(zi)(zi),复言有(you)(you)(you)诸(zhu)物(wu)象(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)而(er)上(shang)奏曰(yue):“其(qi)(qi)大(da)玉(yu)(yu)有(you)(you)(you)日(ri)月(yue)(yue)星辰,八(ba)卦五岳,及(ji)二(er)麟双凤,青龙硃(zhu)雀,驺虞(yu)玄武,各当其(qi)(qi)方(fang)位。又有(you)(you)(you)五行(xing)、十(shi)日(ri)、十(shi)二(er)辰之(zhi)名(ming)(ming),凡(fan)二(er)十(shi)七(qi)字(zi)(zi)(zi),又有(you)(you)(you)‘天(tian)(tian)门地户(hu)人(ren)门鬼门闭’九(jiu)字(zi)(zi)(zi)。又有(you)(you)(you)却(que)非(fei)及(ji)二(er)鸟,其(qi)(qi)鸟皆人(ren)面,则(ze)(ze)《抱朴子(zi)》所谓(wei)‘千(qian)秋万(wan)岁’也。其(qi)(qi)小(xiao)玉(yu)(yu)亦有(you)(you)(you)五岳、却(que)非(fei)、虬犀之(zhi)象(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)。二(er)玉(yu)(yu)俱有(you)(you)(you)仙人(ren)玉(yu)(yu)女乘云控鹤之(zhi)象(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)。别有(you)(you)(you)异状诸(zhu)神(shen),不可尽(jin)识,盖(gai)是(shi)风伯(bo)、雨师(shi)、山(shan)精、海(hai)若之(zhi)类。又有(you)(you)(you)天(tian)(tian)皇大(da)帝,皇帝及(ji)四(si)帝坐,钩(gou)陈、北斗、三公、天(tian)(tian)将军(jun)、土司(si)空、老(lao)人(ren)、天(tian)(tian)仓、南河、北河、五星、二(er)十(shi)八(ba)宿(su),凡(fan)四(si)十(shi)五宫。诸(zhu)字(zi)(zi)(zi)本无行(xing)伍,然往(wang)(wang)往(wang)(wang)偶对。于(yu)(yu)大(da)玉(yu)(yu)则(ze)(ze)有(you)(you)(you)皇帝姓名(ming)(ming),并临南面,与(yu)(yu)日(ri)字(zi)(zi)(zi)正(zheng)鼎足(zu)。复有(you)(you)(you)老(lao)人(ren)星,盖(gai)明(ming)南面象(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)日(ri)而(er)长寿也。皇后二(er)字(zi)(zi)(zi)在(zai)西,上(shang)有(you)(you)(you)月(yue)(yue)形,盖(gai)明(ming)象(xiang)(xiang)(xiang)月(yue)(yue)也。于(yu)(yu)次(ci)玉(yu)(yu)则(ze)(ze)皇帝名(ming)(ming)与(yu)(yu)九(jiu)千(qian)字(zi)(zi)(zi)次(ci)比,两杨字(zi)(zi)(zi)与(yu)(yu)万(wan)年字(zi)(zi)(zi)次(ci)比,隋与(yu)(yu)吉(ji)字(zi)(zi)(zi)正(zheng)并,盖(gai)明(ming)长久吉(ji)庆也。”劭复回互其(qi)(qi)字(zi)(zi)(zi),作(zuo)诗二(er)百(bai)八(ba)十(shi)篇(pian)奏之(zhi)。上(shang)以为诚(cheng),赐帛(bo)千(qian)匹。劭于(yu)(yu)是(shi)采(cai)民间歌谣,引(yin)图书谶纬,依约符命,捃摭佛经,撰(zhuan)为《皇隋灵感(gan)志》,合三十(shi)卷(juan),奏之(zhi)。上(shang)令宣示(shi)天(tian)(tian)下。劭集诸(zhu)州(zhou)朝集使(shi),洗(xi)手(shou)焚香,闭目而(er)读之(zhi),曲折其(qi)(qi)声(sheng),有(you)(you)(you)如歌咏(yong)。经涉旬朔,遍而(er)后罢。上(shang)益喜,赏赐优洽。
仁寿(shou)(shou)中,文献皇(huang)后(hou)崩,劭复上(shang)言(yan)曰:“佛说人应(ying)生(sheng)天(tian)(tian)上(shang),及上(shang)品上(shang)生(sheng)无量寿(shou)(shou)国之(zhi)时(shi),天(tian)(tian)佛放(fang)大(da)光(guang)明,以(yi)香花妓乐来迎之(zhi)。如来以(yi)明星出时(shi)入(ru)涅盘。伏惟大(da)行(xing)皇(huang)后(hou)圣德仁慈,福善(shan)祯符,备诸秘记,皆云是(shi)妙善(shan)菩萨。臣谨案:八月二十二日(ri),仁寿(shou)(shou)宫(gong)内再雨金银(yin)之(zhi)花。二十三日(ri),大(da)宝殿后(hou)夜(ye)有神(shen)光(guang)。二十四(si)日(ri)卯(mao)时(shi),永(yong)安宫(gong)北有自然(ran)种种音乐,震满虚空(kong)。至(zhi)夜(ye)五(wu)更中,奄然(ran)如寐(mei),便(bian)即升遐(xia),与经文所(suo)说,事皆符验(yan)。臣又以(yi)愚(yu)意思之(zhi),皇(huang)后(hou)迁化,不在仁寿(shou)(shou)、大(da)兴(xing)宫(gong)者(zhe),盖避至(zhi)尊(zun)常居正处也。在永(yong)安宫(gong)者(zhe),象京师之(zhi)永(yong)安门,平生(sheng)所(suo)出入(ru)也。后(hou)升遐(xia)后(hou)二日(ri),苑内夜(ye)有钟声三百余处,此(ci)则生(sheng)天(tian)(tian)之(zhi)应(ying)显然(ran)也。”上(shang)览(lan)而且(qie)悲且(qie)喜。
时蜀(shu)王秀以罪废,上(shang)(shang)(shang)(shang)顾谓劭(shao)曰(yue):“嗟乎!吾有(you)(you)五子(zi)(zi),三子(zi)(zi)不(bu)(bu)才。”劭(shao)进曰(yue): “自古圣帝(di)明(ming)王,皆不(bu)(bu)能移不(bu)(bu)肖之(zhi)子(zi)(zi)。黄帝(di)有(you)(you)二(er)(er)十五子(zi)(zi),同姓者二(er)(er),余各异德。尧十子(zi)(zi),舜九(jiu)子(zi)(zi),皆不(bu)(bu)肖。夏有(you)(you)五观,周有(you)(you)三监。”上(shang)(shang)(shang)(shang)然其(qi)言。其(qi)后上(shang)(shang)(shang)(shang)梦(meng)欲上(shang)(shang)(shang)(shang)高山(shan)而不(bu)(bu)能得(de),崔彭(peng)(peng)(peng)捧脚,李盛扶(fu)肘得(de)上(shang)(shang)(shang)(shang),因谓彭(peng)(peng)(peng)曰(yue):“死(si)生当与(yu)尔俱。”劭(shao)曰(yue):“此梦(meng)大(da)吉(ji)。上(shang)(shang)(shang)(shang)高山(shan)者,明(ming)高崇(chong)大(da)安,永(yong)如山(shan)也。彭(peng)(peng)(peng)犹彭(peng)(peng)(peng)祖(zu),李犹李老(lao),二(er)(er)人扶(fu)侍(shi),实(shi)为长寿之(zhi)徵。”上(shang)(shang)(shang)(shang)闻之(zhi),喜见(jian)容色。其(qi)年(nian),上(shang)(shang)(shang)(shang)崩。未几,崔彭(peng)(peng)(peng)亦卒。
炀(yang)帝(di)(di)嗣位,汉王谅(liang)作乱,帝(di)(di)不(bu)忍加诛(zhu)(zhu)。劭(shao)上书曰:“臣闻黄帝(di)(di)灭(mie)炎(yan),盖云母弟(di),周公诛(zhu)(zhu)管(guan),信亦天伦(lun)。叔(shu)(shu)向戮(lu)叔(shu)(shu)鱼,仲尼谓之遗直(zhi),石碏杀石厚,丘明以(yi)为大(da)义。此皆经籍明文,帝(di)(di)王常(chang)法(fa)。今陛下(xia)置此逆贼,度越(yue)前圣,含弘宽大(da),未有(you)以(yi)谢天下(xia)。谨案贼谅(liang)毒被生民(min)者也。是知古者同德则(ze)同姓(xing),异德则(ze)异姓(xing),故黄帝(di)(di)有(you)二十五子,其得姓(xing)者十有(you)四(si)人,唯(wei)青(qing)阳、夷鼓,与(yu)黄帝(di)(di)同为姬姓(xing)。谅(liang)既自绝,请改其氏。”劭(shao)以(yi)此求媚,帝(di)(di)依违(wei)不(bu)从。迁秘书少(shao)监,数载,卒官。
劭在著作将二十年,专典国史,撰《隋书》八(ba)十卷。多录口敕,又(you)采(cai)(cai)迂怪不(bu)(bu)(bu)经(jing)(jing)之语及委巷之言,以类相从(cong),为其(qi)(qi)题目,辞义繁杂,无足(zu)称(cheng)者(zhe),遂使隋代文武名臣列(lie)将善恶之迹(ji),堙没无闻。初撰《齐志》为编(bian)年体,二十卷,复(fu)为《齐书》纪传一百卷,及《平贼(zei)记(ji)》三卷。或文词鄙野,或不(bu)(bu)(bu)轨不(bu)(bu)(bu)物(wu),骇人(ren)视听,大为有识所嗤鄙。然其(qi)(qi)采(cai)(cai)擿经(jing)(jing)史谬误,为《读书记(ji)》三十卷,时(shi)人(ren)服其(qi)(qi)精博。爰自志学,暨乎暮齿,笃好经(jing)(jing)史,遗(yi)落(luo)世事。用思(si)既专,性颇恍忽,每(mei)至对食,闭目凝思(si),盘中之肉,辄为仆从(cong)所啖。劭弗之觉,唯责肉少,数罚厨(chu)人(ren)。厨(chu)人(ren)以情白劭,劭依(yi)前闭目,伺而获之,厨(chu)人(ren)方免(mian)笞辱。其(qi)(qi)专固如此。
袁充

仁寿(shou)四年(nian)甲子(zi)(zi)(zi)岁,炀帝初(chu)即(ji)位,充(chong)及太(tai)史(shi)丞高(gao)智宝(bao)奏言:“去岁冬至,日(ri)影(ying)逾(yu)长,今岁皇帝即(ji)位,与(yu)尧(yao)受命(ming)年(nian)合。昔唐尧(yao)受命(ming)四十(shi)(shi)九年(nian),到上(shang)(shang)(shang)元第一纪(ji)(ji)甲子(zi)(zi)(zi),天(tian)正(zheng)十(shi)(shi)一月庚(geng)戌冬至,陛(bi)下即(ji)位,其(qi)(qi)年(nian)即(ji)当上(shang)(shang)(shang)元第一纪(ji)(ji)甲子(zi)(zi)(zi),天(tian)正(zheng)十(shi)(shi)一月庚(geng)戌冬至,正(zheng)与(yu)唐尧(yao)同。自放勋以(yi)来(lai),凡经(jing)八(ba)上(shang)(shang)(shang)元,其(qi)(qi)间绵代,未有(you)仁寿(shou)甲子(zi)(zi)(zi)之(zhi)合。谨案:第一纪(ji)(ji)甲子(zi)(zi)(zi),太(tai)一在一宫,天(tian)目居(ju)武德,阴(yin)阳历数(shu)并(bing)得符同。唐尧(yao)丙(bing)辰生,丙(bing)子(zi)(zi)(zi)年(nian)受命(ming),止合三五,未若(ruo)己(ji)丑甲子(zi)(zi)(zi),支干并(bing)当六(liu)合。允一元三统之(zhi)期,合五纪(ji)(ji)九章之(zhi)会,共帝尧(yao)同其(qi)(qi)数(shu),与(yu)皇唐比(bi)其(qi)(qi)踪。信所谓皇哉(zai)唐哉(zai),唐哉(zai)皇哉(zai)者矣。”仍讽齐王暕率百官拜(bai)(bai)表(biao)奉贺。其(qi)(qi)后(hou)(hou)荧惑(huo)(huo)守(shou)太(tai)微者数(shu)旬,于(yu)时(shi)缮治宫室(shi),征役繁(fan)重,充(chong)上(shang)(shang)(shang)表(biao)称“陛(bi)下修德,荧惑(huo)(huo)退舍(she)”。百僚毕贺。帝大喜,前后(hou)(hou)赏赐将(jiang)万计。时(shi)军(jun)国多务,充(chong)候(hou)帝意欲(yu)有(you)所为(wei),便奏称天(tian)文见象,须有(you)改作,以(yi)是取媚于(yu)上(shang)(shang)(shang)。大业六(liu)年(nian),迁内史(shi)舍(she)人。从征辽(liao)东,拜(bai)(bai)朝请大夫、秘书少监。其(qi)(qi)后(hou)(hou)天(tian)下乱,帝初(chu)罹(li)雁门之(zhi)厄,又(you)盗贼(zei)益起(qi),帝心不(bu)自安。充(chong)复(fu)假托天(tian)文,上(shang)(shang)(shang)表(biao)陈嘉(jia)瑞,以(yi)媚于(yu)上(shang)(shang)(shang)曰:
臣闻皇天(tian)辅德,皇天(tian)福谦,七政斯齐,三辰告应。伏(fu)惟陛(bi)下握录(lu)图而(er)驭(yu)黔首(shou),提万善(shan)而(er)化八纮,以百姓为心,匪以一(yi)人受庆,先天(tian)罔违所欲,后(hou)天(tian)必奉(feng)其(qi)时(shi)。是以初膺(ying)宝历,正当上元之纪,乾之初九,又与(yu)天(tian)命符会。斯则(ze)圣人冥契,故能(neng)动(dong)合天(tian)经(jing)。谨按去年(nian)已(yi)来,玄(xuan)象星瑞,毫厘(li)无爽,谨录(lu)尤异,上天(tian)降祥、破(po)突(tu)厥等状七事(shi):
其(qi)(qi)(qi)一(yi),去(qu)八(ba)(ba)(ba)月(yue)(yue)二(er)(er)十(shi)八(ba)(ba)(ba)日夜,大流(liu)(liu)(liu)星(xing)如斗(dou),出(chu)王良北(bei)(bei),正(zheng)落突厥营,声如崩墙。其(qi)(qi)(qi)二(er)(er),八(ba)(ba)(ba)月(yue)(yue)二(er)(er)十(shi)九(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)日夜,复(fu)有(you)大流(liu)(liu)(liu)星(xing)如斗(dou),出(chu)羽(yu)林,向北(bei)(bei)流(liu)(liu)(liu),正(zheng)当北(bei)(bei)方(fang)。依(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)占(zhan),频二(er)(er)夜流(liu)(liu)(liu)星(xing)坠贼所,贼必(bi)败(bai)散。其(qi)(qi)(qi)三,九(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)月(yue)(yue)四(si)(si)日夜,频有(you)两(liang)星(xing)大如斗(dou),出(chu)北(bei)(bei)斗(dou)魁,向东北(bei)(bei)流(liu)(liu)(liu)。依(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)占(zhan),北(bei)(bei)斗(dou)主(zhu)杀伐,贼必(bi)败(bai)。其(qi)(qi)(qi)四(si)(si),岁星(xing)主(zhu)福德,频行(xing)京、都二(er)(er)处(chu)分野。依(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)占(zhan),国家之福。其(qi)(qi)(qi)五(wu),七月(yue)(yue)内(nei),荧(ying)惑守羽(yu)林,九(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)月(yue)(yue)七日已退舍。依(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)占(zhan),不出(chu)三日,贼必(bi)败(bai)散。其(qi)(qi)(qi)六,去(qu)年十(shi)一(yi)月(yue)(yue)二(er)(er)十(shi)日夜,有(you)流(liu)(liu)(liu)星(xing)赤(chi)如火,从东北(bei)(bei)向西南(nan),落贼帅(shuai)卢明月(yue)(yue)营,破其(qi)(qi)(qi)童(tong)车。其(qi)(qi)(qi)七,十(shi)二(er)(er)月(yue)(yue)十(shi)五(wu)日夜,通汉(han)镇(zhen)北(bei)(bei)有(you)赤(chi)气(qi)亘(gen)北(bei)(bei)方(fang),突厥将亡之应(ying)也。依(yi)(yi)(yi)(yi)勘《城录》,河(he)南(nan)洛(luo)阳并(bing)当甲子,与乾元(yuan)初九(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)爻及上元(yuan)甲子符合。此(ci)是福地(di),永(yong)无(wu)所虑。旋观往政(zheng),侧(ce)闻(wen)前古(gu),彼则(ze)异时(shi)间出(chu),今则(ze)一(yi)朝总萃。岂(qi)非天赞有(you)道,助歼凶孽,方(fang)清九(jiu)(jiu)(jiu)夷于东獩,沉(chen)五(wu)狄于北(bei)(bei)溟,告成岱岳,无(wu)为汾水。
书(shu)奏,帝大悦,超拜秘书(shu)令(ling),亲待逾昵。帝每欲征(zheng)讨,充(chong)(chong)皆预知之(zhi),乃假托星象,奖成帝意,在位者皆切患之(zhi)。宇文化及(ji)杀(sha)逆之(zhi)际(ji),并诛(zhu)充(chong)(chong),时年七十五(wu)。
史臣曰:王劭爰自幼童,迄乎白首,好学不倦,究极群书。搢绅洽闻之士,无不推其博物。雅好著述,久在史官,既撰《齐书》,兼修隋典。好诡怪之说,尚委巷之谈,文词鄙秽,体统繁杂。直愧南、董,才无迁、固,徒烦翰墨,不足观采。袁充少在江左,初以警悟见称,委质隋朝,更以玄象自命。并要求时幸,干进务入。劭经营符瑞,杂以妖讹,充变动星占,谬增晷影。厚诬天道,乱常侮众,刑兹勿舍,其在斯乎!且劭为河朔清流,充乃江南望族,干没荣利,得不以道,颓其家声,良可叹息。
